I spent 1 night here, based on the glowing reviews. Sadly, this hotel has gone down hill significantly, and is in poor condition now. Everything is broken, crumbling & old. Its as if they stopped maintaining the property years ago. Paint is peeling off the walls, lights don't work, the pool had no water, etc. There's almost no one working there (the same guy who served food was also at the reception desk). Dinner was ok, but it the dining room was nearly dark, with just a weird flood light in a corner. Breakfast was awful, just a weird assortment of prepackaged food, condiments and omelettes. The wifi dropped out often. They took accept cards for payment, but seemed very annoyed when I wanted to use one asking "don't you have any cash???". Its sad how bad this hotel became in a few years time.

The hotel is very beautiful and romantic. Well integrated into the surrounding environment, beautiful garden and large swimming pool. Unfortunately the structure has not undergone any renovation or renovation, the bathrooms are now old, the electrical systems need to be reviewed, the rooms and windows need to be renewed and it follows that the general impression is also of unclean environments..... impression however caused mostly by poor maintenance. It's a shame....if the hotel was tidied up a bit it would be a truly wonderful place.

44 degrees… no ice… no air conditioning running… the hotel is very beautiful, it lacks service and a little coolness. Non-existent reception supposedly 24/24 but if you return after 11 p.m. no one and the key is left on the counter... surprising all the same one evening they lost our key... Breakfast without the pastries indicated on their sheet in the hall … over 8 days no pastries and practically nothing to eat at the buffet. The bread was hard from the day before or worse. The rooms are dark, you have to open the front door to see clearly. The bedspread was stained red… etc… first and last time for me. the swimming pool is mainly occupied by people from outside the hotel!!

While passing through Djerba we stayed in the Dakyanus hotel. It was nice . The welcome on arrival, the staff at the reception and the restaurant. The air-conditioned room with TV and mini bar. Clean and pleasant with a touch of the region in the decor. A deep swimming pool. The food is very good. I recommend it for a visit to visit Cheninni the Sleeping Sevens and appreciate the mountains. A big thank you to all the staff.

I deplore the catastrophic reception we received at the Dakyanus hotel. I went to the swimming pool with my family, especially my children. I was seriously attacked by a swimming instructor who even wanted to hit me because he considered that I had not rinsed my son well enough before he went to the pool. I also deplore the support from the rest of the staff and the hierarchical superior who rather than denouncing the violent and not at all professional attitude of their colleague, preferred to defend the indefensible, namely an emoloye who insults and attempts to hitting a customer who nevertheless respected the hotel's instructions.
