Yallands Farmhouse

3 of us stayed overnight in the Chestnut and Wisteria rooms. Karen and Chris were very welcoming hosts, and ensured our requirements were catered for. The breakfast was spot on, especially Chris's marmalade. My only negative, which is a personal thing, was that the mattress was too soft for my liking. Otherwise, an excellent stay and would certainly recommend Yallands.

Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good. Some things, including the beds and bedding are a bit tired and could do with replacing.

Lovely characterful building, with very comfortable beds. I had the Chestnut Room and loved the view over the beautiful garden. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. His recommendation of The Cross Keys for dinner was spot on - worth a visit. Breakfast was delicious and definitely set me up for the day - I sampled their homemade tortilla. Delicious! I will be visiting Taunton regularly so will make this my preferred stay.

Don’t be put off by first impressions or the location of this B&B. Located in a suburban area outside of Taunton this old farmhouse is a complete surprise. The hosts could not be more helpful the rooms were large and all amenities provided. The breakfast cooked to order was first class. A short drive to the Cross Keys hotel provides access to great meals and a great atmosphere British pub.

Great friendly stay Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with homemade marmalade being a hit. Although the sausages were cheap and basic. Owners were very friendly and accommodating, would definitely stay here again

Very welcoming and friendly, cosy and peaceful The bed was the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Owners were amazingly welcoming and friendly, the location is beautiful and it feels very quaint and peaceful. Really happy with my stay.

We have just returned from our lovely break in somerset, this place was so lovely, karen and chris were lovely hosts everything was just perfect. Highly recommend a little oasis in Taunton.

Lovely welcome from Karen when we arrived. Lucky to get an upgrade to a larger room with a jacuzzi bath - which was lovely. Beautiful old farm house set in the middle of a housing estate that has been built around it. Decor a bit dated and in need of a refurb. Lovely breakfast with good ingredients. Loved the homemade marmalade. 😋
