The Village Resort

We had a 2 bedroom apartment in double storey. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Check-in was a breeze. Front desk was very helpful and brought us to our room. It comes with a fully equipped kitchenette with washer and dryer. Will not hesitate to recommend The Village Resort to anyone. It was a wonderful experience staying at this place.

A very modern & comfortable apartment with all the modcons including the in room washing machine & dryer which was handy . A nice balcony coming off the lounge . Friendly staff & an awesome swimming pool .

Stayed for two nights and were impressed by the accomodation and amenities. Loved having a fully equiped kitchen and laundry facilities! And that they replenished the laundry powder each daily, unlike many other places. The unit was spacious and the fold out bed in the lounge was perfect for what we needed. Great location to the lake and easy walk into town. Only negative if I had to have one was probably the transactional nature of check in and check out. No smile, not warm NZ welcome but that’s better than bad service any day. Would recommend.

Great place to stay. Within walking distance to the main town centre. Tons of space and great amenities.

We really loved staying we were happy with everything. We have stayed at a few motels at Taupo and this was the best one we stayed at.

Comfortable apartment with everything you need and all the equipment for a pleasant stay. Clean and very well maintained environment.

Wonderful property so well laid out. Easy parking right next to your door. Huge apartment with comfortable bed. Washer and dryer were really appreciated. Lovely views. Pub next door for a great meal.

Cracking location, accommodation could definitely do with some refurbishment.
