Hotel LIVVO Lago Taurito & Aquapark

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone with children. You’re not allowed to use floats in the pool. The seawater in the water park burns your skin. You’re allocated times for all inclusive. Kids club is for 1hr30 which is a walk away. Dirty.

Family vacation with teenagers. We stayed in 2 family rooms on the 6th floor. The view was amazing from the balcony. Beautiful sunset every night. Food was good. Beach was close. Service was good. Overall a very good family vacation.

Travelled as a family of 5 (kids age 13, 10 and 4). Stayed in a fanily room with sea view - room was lovely and spacious. No complaints at all except had to request toilet roll on a couple of occasions. Food - We all ate very well, they had certain themed nights. Italian, Mexican and Canarian which we all enjoyed. Not sure what people have been complaining about as food was delicious, even my fussy 4 year old had no issues. Pool - we mainly stayed round the Water park. Opens at 10 and we never had an issue finding a sunbed. Does get busier on the weekend as its open to locals but still plenty of loungers to be found. The water is cold and salty but fine once you get used to it. Hotel pool was small but nice. Was pretty compact for the amount of sunbeds and it got very crowded. Can imagine in the Summers months its manic. Floats not allowed in hotel pool but fine in water park. We hired a car whilst there and I would highly recommend, so easy to travel over there and we got to explore a lot of the area. We tend to get cabin fever so was nice to have the option. Definitely recommend Amadores, Mogan and Puerto Rico. Would we visit again - absolutely but probably in the quieter months. Don't be put off by bad reviews !!

Transfer - said an 1hr 10mins was definitely longer - this hotel is the last one. Upon arrival - check in was fine, gave us a packed lunch as we were a late arrival. Waterpark - Now we was unable to use it the first day as we were travelling which is fine but then when we got there we were told we are now unable to use it on departure day too so we got 5 days instead of ‘7’. Your all inclusive is not included in the waterpark you have to keep coming back over to your hotel. You have to he 120m to be allowed on the big slides but the small ones arn’t too small. My children are able to swim but still get panicky so asked if my youngest were able to wear arm bands and she was. Always able to get a sun lounger so don’t rush if you don’t need to. It is sea water and not chlorine. Hotel pool - It is small, the sun doesn’t cover it till 11ish. All Sun-beds were together next to each other in rows. In some areas it stinks of drains constantly and your feet get full of gunky stuff due to the sunbeds not being moved and cleaned properly. Theres always pigeons around. Location - Puerto Rico is about 10-15 mins down the road in a taxi (€15). There are a few shops around and hotels all i can describe it as your in a cove type situation with other hotels and a waterpark in the middle 🤣 with shops around and a beach. The beach is black sand so be wary of it staining, there are jet skis, pedlo boats are available, you can see the fish as they come up close. There are 2 food restaurants on the beach front which was recommended. Entertainment- Its decent. I would suggest you get there earlier due to how busy it gets - this is 3 hotels coming to 1 spot. It’s a mixture of English and Spanish which I thought it was good. The all inclusive bar close at 11pm but you’re able to then buy from 11-midnight. Wifi - Erm standard holiday connection really, we were unable to connect our iPads. Room - Our room was 842 over looked the main area out the front it was lovely all lit up, bit noisy with the balcony door open until around midnight for those that like peace - it wasn’t a problem for us. I would warn you close your bathroom window i got a fright the morning after our first night due to the bin men emptying the glass bins 🤣 lovely, clean and spacious. Your bedding is quite thick compared to your usual sheets you get. I would return, we really enjoyed ourselves and met some lovely people.

This hotel is very average but the price is inflated due to the location of the waterpark. We hardly used the waterpark because the water was baltic however our daughter loved the hotel pool which was slightly heated. On arrival we waited over an hour to check in thanks to there only being one person on reception. Food was average, rooms were average and the kids club wasn't great either. The evening entertainment was good with a good variety of professional shows. We would not return.

The rooms were very nice and there a wide veraity of food available everyday for both adults and children, however the rooms were cleaned almost everyday but they did not change the bed sheets for us nor give addition toilet paper. The water park is a very good option for all ages as it's suitable for everyone and very safe since there was lifeguards around the whole water park, the hotel pool was good but not as good as the aqua park since there was less space so it was more crowded but it was warmer than the water in the aqua park.also if you like cats then you are in for a treat as there is a lot of them. Highly recommend coming here

Don’t be put off with the reviews. I’ve just returned from there. The water park is good yes water is cold but you get use to it. The rooms are ok but cleaned every day except a Sunday. You have to try the restaurant y the beach food was absolutely delicious. The food in the hotel is ok there’s something for everyone there is one waiter that makes you welcome every time and is brilliant with the kids he’s always got a smile and very welcoming

Everyone will find fun at this hotel, mainly because of the animators who make the hotel more interesting. Every day there is a different program, which ends with an evening entertainment in Arena Plaza, it was a great improvement of the day. All of the animators are great, I personally was most impressed by Amanda Martella who managed to impress everyone with her temperament and smile. I think she is the right person for the job.

18 of us visited last September had a farntastic time all the children loved it especially the water park which included in all inclusive hotel pool was nice with a bar cocktails flowed all day food was nice lots of it buffet style rooms cleaned daily staff are friendly had a kids club so our daughters were pleased to get couple hours break evening entertainment evert night with shows kids and adults lived ye all rounded great fam holuday would highly recommend x
