We stayed in Hotel Le Castelet , Le Mont Dore, France recently. We found the hotel to be very comfortable. The bedrooms had good beds and good bathrooms with excellent shower. The dining room was bright and airy and the breakfast generous. The garden was pleasant to sit in and relax. The lady at reception was welcoming and friendly. We would visit again.

Enjoyed our stay in Hotel Le Castelet, located just outside Le Mont Dore's town centre with its own free parking. The hosts and hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, and offered a number of useful suggestions about things to see and do in the area and places to eat. Our room was comfortable, spacious and quiet and overlooked their beautiful patio/garden. The shower is slightly cramped for someone of my height and size (a dish/holder for soap / shower gel would be a very helpful addition!) but fine. A very solid choice for this region, especially if you're driving in and out to explore by car.

Very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. We got a spacious room at a reasonable price. The decor is in good taste. Our room was clean and looked like it was freshly painted less than a year ago. Also the bathroom looked to be newly renovated. The breakfast buffet is quite small but I think there are sufficient choices to satisfy everyone.

We booked a "Privilege Room" which was spacious and clean with modern uncluttered decor. Toilet and bathroom each with their own door. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet although the door (and nearby doors) could bang if not closed carefully. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Breakfast had a good range of choices including scrambled or boiled eggs. Tables in the breakfast room were well spaced apart. Parking was easy in the private car park. The garden has many chairs and tables, where drinks from the bar can be enjoyed. We would stay here again if we return to Le Mont-Dore

Très bon établissement avec un personnel très sympathique.Chambre (20 M2) confortable avec belle salle d’eau moderne et superbe literie.Machine à café et bouteille d’eau à l’arrivée.Le cadre est agréable avec joli jardin,parking fermé à disposition.Très proche du centre ville.Excellent séjour de 3 nuits.
