I made reservations for may-11th-24 and it said check in is at 3pm. It was 1pm, so I needed a rm ASAP,so I went to the hotel to see if I could get checked in early. When I arrived at the place it looked like it was going through renovations. There was plastic on the windows and the front was currently getting fixed. I walked and asked the front self lady if I could check in early and she said no that I can't be checked in until 6pm😳. I said when it was check in time and she said 3pm but their system is down. She said all the phones and wifi and the computers are not working at all and there is a tech trying to fix it and it has been down all day. I asked her will can you still check me in even if everything is down?. She said no she cannot do anything because the system is down. So I asked her,Will there is a fairland hotel down the street from my house, do you think you can transfer my reservation there since I can't check in, and she said no I can't. The only thing I can do is you go there make a new reservation and when my system comes back up I can cancel the reservation. I said ok and went to the next hotel, I went on trip.com and just requested cancellation just in case. I got an email back saying it was successfully cancelled. The next day I got an email saying that they tried to cancel it but they couldn't cancel it. I called them and they said that the front desk guy said they never offered to go to another hotel and make a new reservation there and they could have checked me in and my reservation can't be cancelled. I explained why I couldn't check in and why I went to the other hotel. So trip.com contacted them and explained my situation. Then they told him that even though the system was down they can still check me in. I told trip.com that they told me they couldn't check me in until the system was up and that wasn't until 6-7pm. Then trip called them back and their reply was. The system was up all morning until 3pm so we could have checked her in? It was one lie after another, unless the problem was just the front desk girl that was supposed to check me in. maybe she didn't want to check me in or she was ****** I don't know but this place ****** and I didn't even get a chance to stay there to say how fully it ******. If there was a date for negative 100 I would rate this place for that. I will not recommend anybody to stay here. I'm putting my experience on social media to Warren ppl so this won't happen to anybody else.

The hotel is close to the highway. It will be a bit noisy at night. Parking is free. The room is spacious and worthy of this star standard in all aspects. The breakfast is average. If you want to sleep for one night, it is recommended to stay here.

Emily was at the front desk when we checked in. There was a large group of rather confused and unprepared travelers ahead of us. Emily navigated the steady stream of obstacles they provided quickly and professionally. Including, if I overheard correctly half of their group booking at the wrong hotel. Emily was courteous and professional with them beyond my personal threshold for incompetence. After handling the group, she checked us in and even fixed an issue for me. Which, again was my fault not the hotels. I typically don't write reviews but I want to recognize Emily for her professionalism and understanding. We travel a lot and life would be much better if every front desk had an Emily.

The power went out during our stay and we had to leave to another hotel, after they charged me 60$ more than the website booking showed. The manager was rude and kept calling my room to ask if I was leaving to another hotel. They offered no money back and did not even refund me the money they told me they had to hold onto to. Would never book with this hotel again, ever!

I found two small cockroaches in my room. The hotel offered and executed a deep clean as a result. I was also charged twice for use of the washing mashine, for which I was promised a refund which I am still waiting for.

Marriott has a reputation for being a nice, clean hotel and this location lived up to it. I was in town for business and needed a quiet, comfortable place to work. I stayed in a first-floor suite. The room had a nice desk for my laptop and tons of places to plug in my stuff. There was a comfy couch with an ottoman and a table where I could put food/drinks while I watched TV. There are only two small things that would have made it perfect. The walls are thin so I could hear the people in the next room talking/snoring etc. Also there needs to be a brighter light over the bathroom vanity. Other than that this place is great. Will definitely stay here again.

The young lady working the front desk was so amazing!! I'm in Utah because my dad had 2 strokes & was life flighted down here to the University hospital. She was extremely friendly & helpful making a stressful trip a little less stressful! Which hasn't been the case this whole trip she will never know how extremely thankful I am for her!!

We had a ok stay, the room was nice, clean and a great location for why were in SLC. We did find the pillows weak, and bed was ok. We did have some late-night noise above us which made it a little difficult to sleep. The front desk was very good to us, and I am thankful for their help.
