I stayed in this place for one night on 30th April, 1st May. The hotel is really upscale, luxury. Unfortunately it is letdown by really pathetic service. Rather than just saying, let me give an example. I booked this place because I was driving a EV and this place has a level 3 charger on premises. The charger is in the reception porch of the hotel. When I arrived, the charger was partially blocked by a Fortuner (ICE car). I request the valet to move the car but he plainly refused. I also saw multiple cars parked near the charger. Anyway, I somehow squeezed into the charger parking and put my car for charging. The valet came running and asked for my car keys. I politely told him that I normally don't give keys to valet because on my road trips the car is full of valuables and hotel doesn't take any responsibility for valuables. After a small argument, I finally convinced him that as soon as my car is charged, I will come down and move it to their parking myself. The funny thing is that there were multiple cars parked there and they were not bothering the valet at all. Later I realized, their parking is quite a distance away and valets don't want to walk up and down the hill so they use the area around the charger to park the cars, so they don't have to walk too much. This when most of them have golf carts to go around. Next day morning, I asked them can they drop me to the parking in their golf cart, they said the driver is not there. The hotel is in a very picturesque location and has magnificent views from the rooms. Also, food etc is great. It is just unfortunate that even with premium pricing, they can't take care of basic customer service.

The staff of the Westin is gracious, attentive, and thoughtful and caring. The food is excellent and the facility is quite new and well appointed. Everything one would expect in a 5 star. I would recommend taking the Himalayan trek with Manish to the sacred Kunjapuri Devi shakti peeth if you are in reasonable physical condition. Manish has extensive local experience and is very knowledgeable of the flora and fauna. He was helpful, and fun. The trek winds through forest and around a small village. If you leave early morning you can see Himalayan Peaks at Dawn if the day is clear. My only comment to the downside is a personal one, I go to the Himalayas for silence, and peace we have enough noise in our life. The Hotel likes to play music fairly loudly in the lobby and restaurants. I have never been to a 5 star hotel that insists on doing this, it really makes no sense to me. But as I said I still gave this experience a top rating. That one thing to me was a 'turnoff"evething else was stellar. The staff amazing.

The hotel is located about 45 minutes drive from Jolly grant international airport, setup on top of a hill with Panaromic views of the valley. The property is tastefully built with all the amenities expected of a 5 star. We got upgraded to a beautiful suite as a marriott platinum member. The food at all the restaurants we tried was very good, especially the pahadi mutton curry at Akasa was 10/10. The breakfast spread had a good variety and tasted good. The best part of the breakfast is again the place it’s served- Akasa. It has such an amazing outdoor seating overlooking the pool, the valley and crafted wooden arches. Just loved the time spent there in the mornings having a cup of coffee. We also tried the Asian restaurant Toya which served us some exceptional sushi. Had a few drinks at pebble bar and they did not disappoint. Went for a sunrise trek to kunjapuri village and the view from there is not to be missed. It’s about 15 minute drive from the property if trekking is not an option. The property doesn’t have a lounge but serves evening high tea from 5pm to 6pm with few snacks and a couple of live cooking stations ***** with live music. The high tea is complimentary for all hotel guests. Overall we had a memorable stay at the property and would live visiting again.

Lovely service with lux rooms. The food was nice especially at the soecialty restaurant toya The staff were friendly and the housekeeping (especially shubham) team were so nice. The landscaping of the hotel is very well done. One thing to improve would be the evening high tea. It needs more seating. Otherwise truly top notch.

The westin resort lived up to its prestigious reputation. Overview: The hotel itself is situated on a hill top giving a surreal view from almost every room, but the real USP of the resort is the staff. Right from pickup at the airport to checkout and drop off at the airport the staff were very hospitable, polite and helpful. If you had any problem that is IF you had any problem the front desk was just a call away to put your mind at ease Dining: The head chef Mr Pankaj and the two managers Mr Rohit and Mr Shailendra were always read to assist us and were Always making sure of the quality of the food. They were very accommodative and hospitable. Rooms: The rooms were large and neat with a killer view. The housekeeping staff were always there to keep it clean and they did a damn good job at it and they never took too much time. Guide: We requested for a guide and the hotel provides one. Mr Manish was a very knowledgeable guide and was very prepared for anything in our sensational adventures in rishikesh and surrounding areas. View: I have already talked about the view but it is so beautiful that it deserves its own section. Since the hotel is situated on a hilltop facing west , the views are just surreal and the views of the sunset just add to the glamorous ambience of this exquisite resort!

Right from the check in to the check out, the experience was pure joy. The surreal views from the pool, the breakfast with live flute, the high tea and the MVP : the staff. All the above have made our experience truly memorable. It’s a great property situated at a hill top, with views of the Himalayan range and the flowing Ganga river. It’s super kid friendly with a lot of activities and a fun zone called Hakuna Matata for kids. I have a long list of people who’ve made our holiday all the more enjoyable. Sneha, Aditi and Prem at the front desk. Bishal at the pool side. Rohit, Ishita abd Zonuni at Akasa. Chef Ashish who was very courteous and obliged all our requests. Sumanta and Krishna from room service. And finally Sachin at the spa. I believe it’s the staff which makes the guest feel at home, and kudos to the whole team at Westin Himalyas. You guys are doing a superb job.

My family and me just returned from Rishikesh. We stayed in westin from 13 to 16 march 2025. We were five of us plus an infant. This was my first visit to Rishikesh. Hence, stayed at Westin. The location was on a mountain with a valley view. It was breath taking. The checkin was easy. Rooms were big. For 3 days we had lunch and dinners at various restaurants in the hotel. The service was exceptional. One of us was vegan . The chief chef used to come personally to take the orders. The staff went beyond their capacity to make us comfortable. Even when the restauants were busy. Here would like to mention priyanka , shoiab and of course all the supervisors. Frankly i was opting for Taj. But then realized it takes a long time to commute to Rishikesh. Hence , opted for Westin. I have travelled the world and stayed in lovely hotels. But this was the best ever . I will surely come back again . Thanks to all for giving us a wonderful stay.
