Excellent We had a lovely stay in a really lovely hotel. Room very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and check in was easy. We had a family party there and the food for their buffet was delicious and plenty of it. Later that evening we had a meal there and Was delicious. Again breakfast was great and plenty of choice. All the staff at each of the stages of our day were friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Will be visiting again when we are in the area visiting relatives.

Perfectly functional with decent beer in the pub We were only here for one night for a wedding nearby, and the stay was fine. All the staff we spoke to between check-in and leaving were polite and helpful. The pub was good to meet with friends and have a quick bite to eat before heading to the wedding, and they have respectable selection of beers on draught. The room was comfortable enough, nothing flash, just a functional room with the essentials. Importantly the bed was comfy. So all in all, the Fallow Field is a good option for a stopover of you are in the area.

Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were perfectly acceptable for the price point. Although there’s no front desk at the hotel itself — you need to collect the key from the pub across the street — this wasn’t a major issue and the process was straightforward. The room was surprisingly spacious given the price, and there was even a small play area nearby which was great for kids to burn off some energy. Free parking was also a big plus, with plenty of spaces available. All in all, I’d recommend this place, especially for families or anyone looking for a good budget-friendly stay.

Easy check in at the pub and plenty of parking. Had requested room on lower floor but was told they had not received my message. Comfy bed but no main light in the bathroom or soap dispenser by the bath. Did report the light but it couldn't be fixed until the morning and I was leaving at 6. Friendly pub with outside tables,.

Excellent Fantastic service, as a lone female I asked for a room near the entrance. Not only was this sorted easily, they also showed me the room number rather than saying it out loud for people to over hear. Fantastic room, staff - highly recommend m
