Perfect hotel for business. Near restaurants and Main Street in Temuco. Easy in and out access. The front desk personal, Edgard was very kind in giving me directions and also offered to get me a taxi if needed. I had to leave very early in the morning for a meeting in a town 2 hrs away. Breakfast was available fro 6:00AM, making it very convenient for the business traveler.

Excellent service from the staff, very clean rooms, and a nice atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offers many options for different tastes. Conveniently located in the heart of Temuco, shops and restaurants are just a few blocks away.

I stayed at the Diego de Almagro Express Hotel in Temuco, and it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. It's advertised as a 4-star hotel with a restaurant and parking, but upon arrival, there were no parking spaces left, and no solutions were offered. The room left a lot to be desired: the sink was clogged, the hairdryer didn't work, and the shower water was barely warm. When I tried to dine in the restaurant, they only offered a single menu for $27, which also had poor reviews from other guests. The worst of all was breakfast. The restaurant was completely overwhelmed, with only two people serving and cleaning. There was no coffee or hot milk, cutlery and plates were missing, and guests had to clear their own tables to be able to sit down. People were eating standing up, trying to salvage what little was left. The hygiene of the place was deplorable. Definitely a horrible experience. I do not recommend it at all.

Very small room. Poor breakfast with limited, tasteless fruit due to overripe fruit and second- or third-rate selection. Attentive staff. Impeccable room cleanliness. Good location. Parking available without problems.

The hotel is excellent. The rooms are clean and in very good condition. They are quiet and peaceful. The staff is super friendly. The downside: the restaurant. The chef is a serial flavor hijacker, as the dishes arrive without any seasoning. Not even salt. I ordered ceviche, and it had no lemon, no tiger's milk, no salt, and no spice. It looked like a bland salad. The risotto my husband ate was overcooked rice with no flavor. The same thing happened with the fettuccine on our previous trip. Horrible food, mediocre service.

Hotel with a very good location, near the center of Temuco. Small but comfortable and very clean room. The restaurant has a limited but accessible menu. I recommend the drinks, all excellent and served in the correct proportions. Highly recommended.

I'd always stayed at the other Diego de Almagro hotel, but this one really surprised me. More spacious, clean, and in very good condition. The menu is very similar to the other one. The difference is in the price. I think because it's less well-known, it's apparently less in demand, and the room rates are 20% lower. Congratulations!
