Hotel Rastelli Tervuren

Nice welcome and very good location. The room are clean and correct. The only drawback is the lack of an electric socket near the bed. You can, of course, charge your mobile phone on the desk, but if you need to use a machine for sleep apnoea, it's much more complicated.

Vlotte check in en out. Ruime kamer. Badkamer en toilet in afzonderlijke ruimtes was ook een pluspunt. Maar een minder punt aan onze kamer, ik ken de andere kamers niet, waren de trapjes die we moesten nemen, zonder armleuning, om als mensen op leeftijd, 's nachts het toilet te gebruiken. Een armleuning zou al een stap in de goede richting zijn. En voor de technische dienst: de draaistop om het water te laten weglopen werkte niet. Je moet er de stop uithalen. Goede ligging om Tervuren te bezoeken.

Very good hotel. The service is clearly customer focus. The access is ensured 24/7 and there is a parking spot on the back, so we'll protected. Rooms are quiet and friendly looking. The entire place is very clean . Accessible to all. I can only recommend it

We booked two nights in the hotel. The hotel is in the center of Tervuren. The tourist information office and the restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. We stayed three days in Tervuren for a walking holiday. Nice walks starts in the surroundig of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Inside the room it is very quiet: no traffic noise and no noise of airplanes which get off or land at Brussels Airport which is in the surrounding of Tervuren. The bathroom is spacious and has a bath. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.

There was no staff available at the front desk or elsewhere on the main floor of the hotel for most of my 7-day stay. One evening, I needed to place an international call to reach someone in the hotel when my room key failed to let me enter the main door of the hotel and no one answered the doorbell. Very poor room soundproofing, and the room door could not be closed without forcing the closure which did not get fixed despite reporting the issue. There are no USB connections anywhere in the room and no electric outlets available at the bedside. I often had to reinitiate the hotel WIFI connection during the day which dropped off unexpectedly. The size of the TV was smaller than a regular computer monitor, so small and so far from the bed that you could not read the subtitles. It also only offered a few channels mostly in Dutch and German. While listing the other national and international channels, it did not give you access to them. The bathroom lacked facial towels and shampoo, but this was addressed by the cleaning room staff who was professional and helpful in their response, and the only professional staff seen in the hotel during my stay.

The old lady at the reception was the worst person I've ever seen in a Hotel. So rude and not friendly at all. The breakfast was poor. The location was perfect for my business. The room was apparently clean.

We spent six night at the Rastelli Hotel. It is good value for the money. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean as were the bathroom and toilet room. It had an efficiency kitchen with a mini refrigerator, a stove, pots and pans, dished, etc. Great for having a meal in your room. There was a kitchen/dining table with two chairs as well as two side chairs for lounging. The breakfasts were good with a selection of both hot and cold dishes. The hotel is located close to all emenities in Tervuren including shopping, groceries, bars, and restaurants. It was easy to go into Brussels by catching a bus in the middle of town that went to a Brussels subway line. We were in the Grande Place in Brussels in about an hour. While all linen and towels were clean, the towels were somewhat thin. Thicker towels would have been nice. There is heating but no air conditioning in the room, not unusual in Europe. Even in October the room got warm while sleeping and there was no way to cool it other than opening the patio door. We did that during the day but did not want to leave the door open during the night since it opened onto a common patio. A fan in the room would have been helpful. A tea towel in the kitchenette area would have been helpful for drying dishes. We would recommend the Rastelli Hotel if staying in Tervuren.

Stayed at hotel Rastelli, found the room very pleasant, spacious and clean. Was pleasantly surprised given the hotel’s 3* rating. Will stay again if ever need to come back. They say that I should write 200 characters min so forgive my ggghhhhh

This is a very good, moderately priced location to stay at, when you want to visit the Africa museum. Room clean and reasonably equipped, breakfast absolutely adequate, staff very nice and helpful. Location in he heart of Tervuren and very close to the Africa Museum.
