Beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was well appointed and clean and we slept well. Nothing on the island is far away. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant. We would go back in a heart beat.

Located not far from the beach and close to one of the woods, we preferred this location. Van der Valk is a wel known brand with a lot of value for money. Room was spacious, with a nice bathroom. All kinds of details had been thought of.

The team made our stay memorable. From the booking, checking in and having dinner, through to breakfast the next day, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Food was good, with plenty of options to have local produce. They had a big party in for dinner, but this didn’t impact on the service that was given to each and every diner. The combinations of ingredients were well presented and creatively prepared, to give good flavour and visual enjoyment. The team was helpful in making suggestions of local attractions and places to visit, as well as helping with things like ferry times etc. a thank you for making this such a lovely weekend trip.

good location just near the national park. Note however that its a bit further away from the restaurants, and there is only nature around the hotel. we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant - food was excellent. The stay was comfortable, and everything worked smoothly, good breakfast. all staff we came in contact with were very accommodating.

Very welcoming staff and amazing location close to the nature park and next to the cities of the island. Restaurant is charming, rooms are very clean and quite. We are vegan and the restaurant easily adapt the menu for us.

We spent a very nice weekend, the apartment was very spacious and well equipped, the cleanliness was good. The next town (de Koog) can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes, the same applies to the beach. Bikes can be rented at the hotel or locally (cheaper).

Het inchecken duurde lang en was niet erg daadkrachtig. Toen we de sleutel van de kamer kregen bleek deze nog niet schoongemaakt te zijn. De kamers met terras zijn netjes en ruim. Het terras zelf is is erg klein met een minimale buxes erom heen en ligt direct aan de parkeerplaats. De bedden zijn goed met fijne kussens. De badkamer is netjes en de douche fijn. Het is erg stil in hotel, op de deur naar buiten toe na, deze klapt enorm hard dicht. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en werd, op de scrambled eggs na, steeds op tijd weer bijgevuld. Er is een enorme keuze aan broodjes en beleg. Verder verse smoothies, wafels, pancakes, yoghurt, worstjes en gebakken spek. Op 1e Paasdag kregen we nog een glaasje bubbels aangeboden. De parkeerplaats is eigenlijk te klein wanneer het hotel vol zit. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het diner.
