Lovely location with great views of the river and hills, beautiful garden. Room had everything you needed and if it didn’t I’m sure Adrienne and Garth would have fixed it. Great breakfast and Garth was so helpful with directions to local places to visit.

A perfect example of the traditional B & B - charming, welcoming, thoughtful touches (afternoon tea, chocolates), professional hosts (Adrienne & Garth: friendly but not lurkers). Beautiful view of Thames set up high and surrounded by lovely garden, very comfortable bed and great shower. Delicious breakfast with many home-made goodies. Wonderful treat at end of Hauraki Rail Trail. Garth went above and beyond and chauffeured us to dinner and the bust stop in the morning. Would highly recommend!

This is a cozy house with lovely furnishings. It's perfect for a stopover in Thames. The rooms are very clean. Adrienne and Garth prepare you a great breakfast and give you the best tips for your stay or your onward journey.

Fantastic hosts, the room and views were superb, loved relaxing on the terrace and the breakfast was amazing, our favourite being pancakes and berries. Garth and Adrienne told us about the cycle path and how to explore the Coromandel can't recommend highly enough 😊

Absolutely loved our stay here in the Hauraki Trail trip. Amazing hosts who are so welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. Beautiful home made food. Our accommodation was very clean and gorgeously decorated. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a couple of nights to spend somewhere convenient for both Hobbiton and Auckland airport, and I'm so happy I spotted Cotswold Cottage on my search. We were greeted with tea and cake, and excellent views. Garth cooks a superb breakfast and recommended some walks for us after the Hobbiton tour (which was great btw), and a scenic route back which was so much better than the main route. It was pretty chilly outside but we were provided with plenty of heaters and slept well - the bed was very comfortable. We left feeling that we'd made some new friends!

Welcoming hosts with afternoon tea on our arrival. We had the end room which had a great view of the river and surrounds. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. After a couple of weeks in a motorhome it was heaven to have a strong hot shower and comfortable bed. We were treated to a lovely plentiful hot breakfast which we enjoyed whilst sharing holiday stories with the other guests. Highly recommend staying at Cotswold Cottage.

Stunning location with friendly hosts - very helpful with tips on our road trip. Room was very comfortable. Loved our breakfast watching the sun rise - would definitely recommend this place - shame it’s so far away for us as would love to go back.
