The Kumulani has multiple units rented by owners, as such they are in various states of repair, depending on owner. They enjoy resort access to Mauna Kea resort which is a 5-7 minute drive away. Nice resort, nice beach.BUT, our unit at Kumulani, unit I-3, was in terrible shape. Not cleaned properly, a dishwasher with door nearly off hinges with door stripping falling off and racks refusing to move in and out, outdated kitchen appliances, horrible saggy mattresses in all rooms with ill -fitting, old sheets, tired, shabby decor, uncomfortable furniture. Very expensive unit for the state of it. Ask ahead to all owners/property managers about whether the unit is modern and recently updated. I-3 had NOT been updated likely at all since the 1990s.. Yuck.
