Oaks the Entrance Waterfront Suites

Location was the best with everything within walking distance

Spent majority of the day waiting for the lift, it’s inconvenient when u have children with you and you wait 15 minutes each time you want to go up or down the lift.

This property would have been beautiful 30 years ago. The room itself was run down, we were put in a 2 bedroom room even though we only requested a single room which we initially thought was great however one of the rooms was being renovated and was a construction site with no carpet, glue on the floor and a water leak(puddle on the concrete) that smelt like mould. The sofa bed was broken and had a sign on it not be be unfolded as it was broken and the tv didn’t work at all. The pool is very run down, tiles coming up around the pool and in the pool itself. The hotel is in a prime location, with a park out the front and overlooking the water. And the staff were so lovely. It’s just a shame the room was such a letdown. We attempted to call the hotel numerous times after leaving however they never answered the phone and when requesting for a callback online no one called you back.

Another good stay at The Oaks, our go to for The Entrance. Great location, reasonably quiet and comfortable rooms. Nothing fancy, a bit shabby in part, but always a satisfactory stay.

Nice view from the balcony. Very central location. The pool area and water was cold so we couldn’t enjoy sitting there. Seemed to get very windy as it’s situated on level 2. All of the shops and restaurants underneath were closed on a Monday so I’d suggest staying here another night.

we loved the area, nice and clean, playground just outside the building, easy and good for our kids.
