Picture this. You're in the midst of mountains towering over you, in the back drop of misty skies as you draw the curtains back first thing in the morning. You feel as though you've woken up in a little slice of heaven on earth. Then you think to yourslef you're in Munnar area, it is a given that the views are amazing. And yet Drizzle drops towers over other resorts in the area and it feels as though it's been carefully planned and executed to be the numero uno resort property in the western ghats, if not in the whole country. What makes Drizzle drops special is not just the people and the way this place is built in tune with the nature. Nor is it the just the rooms that are well appointed with teak wood finishes and the best fittings possible, or the ayurvedic spa, or the beautiful restaurant over looking the cliff wrapped in glass walls offering a 360 degree view of the mountains as you sip away the evening Masala Chai. It really is the confluence of all these above and the wonderful people that make it all come together. One gets the feeling that there is a culture of hospitality that flows from the top all the down. Every act shows they truly care for the guests and the property alike. A friendly chef Joji and the wait staff Jomon and Rony are on top of their game. The management Sijo and Midhun ensured that everything runs smoothly and makes for a seamless operation of the resort. We booked 2 super deluxe rooms but were upgraded twice over the length of our stay to the premium and Royal suite. The chandeliers in the royal suite is exquisite. The views from all the rooms are just brilliant. The whole frontage of the property is wrapped by a well manicured garden, even the view from the mountains across the valley, back into Drizzle drops must be quite the sight. Everything has been well thought out. Thank you to this team that made our stay very special. My elderly parents and my 8 year old son found the stay to be pleasant. Y'all rock!
