A decent budget hotel for the price! The location is very convenient, right in the center of the island. Bikini Beach is a leisurely 10-minute walk away. There are shops and cafes nearby. There are three breakfast options to choose from. The staff is friendly; the Nepalese guys are very nice and polite. The hotel has only 5 rooms, beautiful green plants on the grounds, and some cool lizards live there.
Pros:
The room has a comfortable mattress and pillows. The air conditioning, fan, and plug adapter work well. Regular and beach towels are provided. The WiFi and hot water work well.
There's an outdoor drying rack for wet clothes. There's no musty smell in the room.
The common area at reception has a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, cream, water, and a refrigerator available 24/7.
There's no hairdryer in the room, but the staff can provide one.
For an additional fee, they can wash and dry your dirty clothes.
Cons:
The room is modest; the walls and table need some touch-ups, as they're stained. Our white bed linen had some stubborn stains. The soundproofing isn't great either; the call to prayer starts at 4:40 a.m., so bring earplugs.
Advice: bring mosquito and fly repellent; they're a scourge on the entire island. Astro Cafe is a 2-minute walk from the hotel, serving delicious rice and grilled tuna for only $7.
Bottom line: This is a budget option, and the hotel offers excellent value for money. If you're not picky about minor renovation issues, the location is excellent, and the staff is top-notch 🔝
Thank you, Maldives ❤️
