Fabulous pub in a tiny village near Rickmansworth and great access (5 mins) to the M25. Great and friendly staff from housekeeping to the waiting staff and managers. Lovely areas around the pub inside and out. Rooms very cosy and well equipped. Highly recommended!

Tables left with glasses and plates not cleared for long periods. No staff at the bar for serving. Food took ages to arrive.Staff seemed to overlook the dirty tables even though the pub was relatively empty. Nice location and relaxed atmosphere

Very disappointing lunch at the Bedford Arms. Had to send back two main courses because they were served cold and then the crumble was cold too. Come on Bedford Arms you can do better than this. The competition is strong and the pub down the road does an excellent Sunday lunch.

Delightful small pub/hotel in a quite area with good car parking. We were there for a Sunday birthday "lunch to tea time" function which this was organised efficiently with good food and drink throughout the afternoon. My wife and I stayed the overnight in a very pleasant bedroom with all facilities as described. A very good full breakfast was provided in the room rate -overall very good value.

Regularly visit the Bedford Arms. Have probably stayed in all the bedrooms in the main house. Since the refurbishment can’t really think of anything bad to say about it, all good beautifully kept staff all very friendly and new menu is really excellent not much more to say.

I arrived before check in to have some lunch and finish off a bit of work. Nothing was a problem and from the moment I arrived until I left after breakfast the next day, the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. A good lunch was followed after a round of golf at a local course by a very good evening meal with friends. I had a good night’s sleep in a very comfortable room which had all the facilities I needed. Breakfast the following morning was excellent and made better by the friendly staff. I look forward to returning to The Bedford Arms sometime and don’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.

I stayed for two nights with my daughter, son-in-law and baby granddaughter to go to a nearby wedding. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making a special point of greeting my granddaughter each time they saw her. Our rooms were lovely: clean and had everything you could want including a big, comfy bed; a coffee machine, fresh milk in the fridge, complimentary bottle of water and nice quality toiletries in the bathroom. The shower had a nice strong flow and plenty of hot water. They provided a travel cot in the room and high chair at all meals for my granddaughter. The meals were great. I don’t know if I’ll have reason to return to this part of the UK but if I do, I’ll certainly return to this hotel.

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. The room was lovely and the shower was great. I really appreciated the little bottle of fresh milk in the fridge for my tea. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only small criticism was that the desk was too cluttered with glasses, tea and coffee items etc. There wasn't anywhere to put things down, even the chairs had items on them. A small side table for these items would have been more useful.

This was my first visit as an overnight guest for about 20 years although I’ve been a pretty frequent diner at the very characterful pub restaurant since the revamp. My aunt and I stayed for 2 nights on a great value deal which included a meal credit and breakfasts. We were really pleased with twin room 9 which is beautifully furnished and has a lovely view over the grounds. The bathroom/shower was fab. A few bits we didn’t like: The desk was way too cluttered with glasses, tea tray, coffeemaker, basket of stuff etc - absolutely no space left. The pillows are hard and there should be an alternative available. The menu needs some lighter dishes. It’s great for people visiting for a pub lunch but, if you’re staying 2 nights,, it’s short on healthy options or smaller appetites. Thanks for a nice stay.
