We recently stayed at Island Villas on Thursday Island and were extremely happy with everything, booking, check in, the Villa was very well equipped in the kitchen, the main bedroom was a good size and the ensuite was perfect. We only spent one night but could have stayed longer it was so nice. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the noise the air con made in the bedroom that night, it kept going on and off and making a terrible noise, so I turned it off and put the fan on and then the blinds started rattling so I had to put pillows against them. Didn't get a lot of sleep unfortunately, but otherwise the Villa was lovely accommodation and we met the owners who were very nice and got us into the Villa as soon as they could which was very appreciative. Thursday Island is a very interesting place to visit😀

The villa was absolutely amazing! So well equipped, with everything you could possibly want. So clean, totally spotless. So comfortable, in the lounge-room, kitchen and bedroom, and on the spacious balcony with its stunning views. The managers, Leisl and Leo, do a wonderful job, in a quiet and unobtrusive way. They are friendly, welcoming and helpful, with a wealth of local knowledge which they are only too happy to share. Nothing is too much trouble for them! A wonderful place waiting for you to savour!

A real GEM of a place, the Villa was amazing, very well fitted out very comfortable and had everything you needed or wanted to make your stay a most enjoyable one, Well located to start on your adventure around the Island

Being met at the ferry by the friendly faces of Leo and Liesl set the tone for the rest of our stay. The villa was so comfortable and it was in a great location, just one block back from the main street. Being able to sit outside at night was so relaxing. The perfect place to stay.

Stayed at Island Villas in August for 2 days as part of a Australian Air Safaris Tour to Cape York. Standard of accomodation was exceptional. Very close to all amenities, and couldnt have asked for anything better
