This is a well appointed hotel and I had a decent room. Yet I feel I was badly treated. I’d booked back in January a Soirée Etape which means bed, breakfast and evening meal. The price was 120 Euros I was aware that soirée étape is for people travelling on business. I am working on a book as I walk around Normandy. I’ve now done 11 walks over 8 years. I was never asked the nature of my work I arrived at the hotel at 3.30pm aware that check in was 4pm but I thought I’d try. I could see staff inside but they wouldn’t open. I returned at 4pm. I mentioned my booking but was told they don’t do a soirée étape on a Saturday. They had though accepted my booking without comment . They then emphasised it was only for people on business. I wasn’t asked if I was there on business. It was just presumed I wasn’t I couldn’t be bothered to argue and turned down breakfast. I was then charged 96 or 97 Euro just for the room. Having walked 20 kms i decided not to argue. On my return I wrote to the hotel expressing my disappointment No answer. The room was fine but the reception decidedly inhospitable

Disappointed! We are still there. Bedroom is lovely but despite telling them lunchtime our room had not been made up they turned up at 17.15 to do it when we were wanting to get ready to meet friends for the evening. Replaced towels and emptied one bin but no beds made or other bin emptied. We had lunch in the restaurant, two of the four main choices were not available at the start of service. No alternatives offered. Husband said he would pass as he didn’t like the other choices and then the requested dish magically appeared. Very confusing. Hoping it is going to improve.

Convenient location if travelling by Caen ferries and for sight-seeing in the area. Immaculately clean with the usual good restaurant and service associated with the Logis hotels. Nice tray with tea/coffee/cake and kettle in the room on arrival.

I am a respected connoisseur of food and wine. I went out of my way o stay at this Logis de France Hotel because it was rated as having a 'Restaurant Gourmand'. My reservation was accepted including a table for dinner and private parking and confirmed by Email . The room fee was taken in advance by Debit Card. On arrival the access was a mud-bath with nowhere suitable to park my car. Conspicuous long-term building and renovation work was in progress which the proprietors were well aware of when I made my booking.Without apology the receptionist informed me that their restaurant was closed and I could go to a local pizzeria for dinner or a Kebab shop nearby if I preferred . This was the most insulting and disappointing experience I have ever suffered at a Logis Hotel over many years of loyal supporting . I will never consider going there again. William.

Good old France family hotel. Best of hotels on my Normandy trip. Good team, perfekt cleanliness, fabulous bed, great location in center, but realy quit room. On next trip in Suisse Normande I will stay there again.

Un accueil irréprochable, un dîner digne des tables étoiles, un chambre propre, spacieuse, très jolie. Vraiment une très étape! A l'entrée du village, relais en pierre donne le ton à ce lieu où le moderne est présent également. Le restaurant,le service, le délicieux dîner préparé avec des saveurs locales est vraiment très bien.

Belle façade, bel emplacement à proximité de toutes les commodités. Dommage que l’accueil n’ai pas été au rendez vous lors de notre arrivée, nous avons attendu plus de 15 minutes avant que quelqu’un ne se présente à la réception. Personne dans le hall d’accueil. De plus, on nous explique pour le petit déjeuner il faut choisir ce que l’on veut et la quantité désirée pour tout le séjour en remplissant une fiche avec une liste. Pas de proposition de modification de la liste. C’est tous les jours la même chose. Par ailleurs, la chambre bien qu’elle soit joliment décorée n’était pas clean (odeur de canalisations, moutons de poussière visible…) Enfin, la lunette des toilettes communs était tachée d’urines et ce dès le matin m’obligeant à retourner dans la chambre. Pour un établissement qui se veut logis hôtel, nous trouvons cela plus que limite.

Restaurant repas 5 étoiles. Hôtel chambre rénovée très bien. Service très bien. Anecdote qui n'enlève rien au plaisir du repas : soyez sages car c'est comme à la maison, on vous dira à l'oreille de parler/rire moins fort. Nous y sommes retrounés et nous y retournerons !
