Holiday Inn Tianjin Xiqing

I stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Tianjin Xiqing Hotel on April 30th. We had a family of 5, so we booked 2 rooms. The staff were friendly and pleasant when checking in. And one room was upgraded to a larger room, so it was even better. After looking around the upgraded room, I went to another twin room. The moment I opened the door... the good feeling I had had for a while suddenly changed. There was a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. It wasn't just the smell of smoking 1 or 2 cigarettes, it was a completely smoky smell that gave me a headache. (For your information, it was a non-smoking room. Even if it was a smoking room, I don't think the cigarette smell would be this bad.) I went to the reception desk and talked to them, and they said they were sorry but they couldn't change the room because they were fully booked. And an air purifier was brought to the room through the housekeeper. About an hour later, someone who looked like a kitchen employee brought a plate of fruit as service. (1 apple, 1 banana, and 1 fruit I can't quite remember) I wasn't a beggar and it was in a bad state, so I said I didn't need it and sent it back. And about 2-3 hours later, the reception desk staff member sent me a WeChat text asking if there was anything else he could help me with. I ignored it because I thought it was ridiculous and not worth replying to. After experiencing this incident, I promised myself that I would never book a Holiday Inn hotel in the future. It wasn't the smell of cigarette smoke that could be removed with an air purifier, and I couldn't rest properly because I kept the door and window open until I went to sleep at night to ventilate. I felt sorry for the child who slept in that room with me. As an adult, I also got headaches because of the smell, but I can't believe I made my precious little son sleep in a room like this... (I paid my own money for a one-night stay, so why should I be treated like this? ㅠㅠ) Even though I said there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, no one from the hotel management came into the room and personally checked what the smell was like. Rather, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being treated like a strange person until I checked out. And regarding the hotel's swimming pool opening hours, Trip.com clearly states that it is from 6:00 AM to 22:00 PM, but when I actually went there, it was from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. I planned my trip relying solely on Trip.com's guidance, but I went there at 8 a.m. and it was closed, so I had to go back to my room, and no matter how many times I called the hotel reception to inquire, they didn't answer. Because of the hotel check-out time, I had to leave in a hurry without being able to stay for even an hour. The reason I'm taking the time to write this is because I don't think we should just ignore this incident as being inconvenient and annoying. I booked a hotel with excitement and excitement, but the condition of the hotel... I was very disappointed in many ways. I thought Holiday Inn Hotel was a famous global hotel chain, but from what I experienced, it was at the level of a third-rate hotel.

You should swim until it is almost closed. The changing room is full of water and there is hair in the earthquake, but no one has cleaned it up. What if I slip and fall? 2. The swimming pool staff kept urging me at 40 o'clock in the evening, saying that the lights would be turned off at 10 o'clock on time, and their attitude was a bit impatient. We have no choice but to leave as soon as possible. It’s a big holiday, let’s understand each other. This is a service attitude that I have never seen before. 3. The housekeeping staff knocked on the door at a little after nine o'clock in the morning and said that they wanted to clean the room... so much so that they woke us all up... Are you in such a hurry to clean it! When we came back from a night out, we found that the room had not been tidied at all and there were hairs on the bed, but it was okay and the trash was thrown away by us. Could it be that this is the service standard of hotels in Tianjin? In short, it’s really rubbish! !

I upgraded the room type, the room is very big, the sanitation is good, it is very clean, especially the bathroom and toilet, it is super big and very comfortable! The breakfast is rich in variety and is the best I have eaten in the holidays I have lived so far! ! There is Aeon next to it, there are restaurants and supermarkets, and there is Metro Line 2. It is also convenient to travel. I will stay here next time on a business trip.

On a business trip, stay overnight in a hurry. I like the simple style of hotel decoration. On the night of check-in, we prepared a business package, which is very considerate, and it saves us from going out and running around in the room, so we can have a better rest. But what is dissatisfying is that the lobby on the first floor is too cold. I want to ask someone to chat and have a drink, but I can't sit still.
