Tianjin Heping District Hotels

The staff at the hotel was amazing and assisted us with all our needs. The centralized aircon, was very hot but they assisted us with a better room so we can have a cooler room.

The room is very spacious, and the bathroom is large. The bedding is clean and hygienic. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and professional. The environment is very quiet, which is great for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, with a wonderful mix of Chinese and Western dishes, and the taste is superb! Especially the Tianjin specialty snacks like Jianbing Guozi, Roujiamo, and fried dumplings are really good. The Roujiamo is on par with what you'd find in Xi'an – soft, crispy, and with plenty of meat. Excellent value for money, definitely worth staying here.

Wanjia Boutique Hotel is a great choice if you want to stay right in the heart of Tianjin. The hotel is located just off Binjiang Road Pedestrian Street, one of the busiest shopping and dining areas in the city. Everything is within walking distance — Porcelain house, restaurants (including halal food), cafes, local shops, and malls. The room was clean and comfortable. Transport is also convenient — several metro stations are nearby, and it’s easy to get around the city either by subway or taxi. A great place to stay if you want to explore Tianjin’s city center on foot. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money in a prime location. Would definitely recommend it for short stays or shopping trips in Tianjin.

The location was great, very clean, and the stuff was very helpful, especially Xiao Dan. We left something at the hotel and she sent it back to us. Highly recommended!!!

On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early at 12 PM, which was a huge plus after a long journey, and let us leave our luggage with them beforehand. We also appreciated the complimentary toiletries (toothbrush, comb, and razor) provided upon request. The building itself looks modern and well-kept from the outside. However, there were some notable downsides. The room wasn't as clean as we would have hoped; it was acceptable but certainly not spotless. Furthermore, the view from our window was just a blank wall. We considered upgrading, but we saw that the rooms with a ”street view” only had a very small window with a grid, making the upgrade seem not worth the extra cost. In conclusion, it's a decent budget-friendly option for a short stay if you value a good location and helpful staff over luxury and views. But if you're looking for a very clean room or a pleasant view, you might want to look elsewhere.

But there are four points that are very difficult to accept: they are all suggestions from the heart, and I hope that the business can improve and get better. Meeting is fate. I hope that I can stay in this hotel again when I come to Tianjin next time. 1-The window is difficult to open, because it is decorated inside the building, so the outside window is difficult to open and close for ventilation. 2-I don’t know which **** designer designed this lamp distance, which is only 1100 or 1200 from the ground. The frame hits the head and the lamp is almost broken. Anyone who has been to elementary school will not install lamps like this. (Turn on the light, turn off the light, get up, and take things will hit the head, which is very speechless) 2-The network speed is very poor, almost the same as the high-speed rail, it is impossible to play games, the signal is always red, change WiFi, ** can’t see well, if you don’t like playing with your mobile phone, don’t like opening windows for ventilation, don’t like activities, and people without children can choose to stay. 3- Breakfast, too busy with few people, the coffee machine can't make water, and it's hard to fill it with water, but it's short of beans. No one cares if you can't change to drip coffee, do you have to use that broken coffee machine? Or there are no plates, no dishes, and they said they would eat at off-peak times. I thought there would be a lot of people, but when I went into the restaurant, there were probably about ten tables in total, and there were simply no service staff. In theory, this hotel is not the most ordinary express hotel, at least it's better than Rujia. I feel that it is comparable to Orange Crystal, Atour, and so on. However, the breakfast is really not half as good as Rujia. There is really nothing to eat. Can you please go and check it out? 4- The sound insulation of the hotel is not very good! 5- Because the window can't be opened, the room smells very strong, like the smell of a very old hotel.

For the price, this is absolutely amazing. 1. The room size is just nice, with a very nice view to Wu Da Dao area. The hotel is very new and modernly equipped. 2. Location is a little far from the nearest metro station but it is right on the border of Wu Da Dao tourist attraction. It is also within walking distance to Heping Road shopping area and the River as well as the attractions along the river. 3. Breakfast was basic and within my expectation. 4. The hotel stuff are very nice and friendly people. 5. Free self service washing machine and dryer - love it. Only 1 minus point us that wheelchaired guests may find it hard to access the hotel. There might be an entrance with ramp that I was not aware of though because there are ramps inside the hotel. Overall, highly recommended!

The room was very new, the bedding was very comfortable, and the view was great. However, only two of the three elevators were operating, and even only one was working when I checked in on Saturday afternoon. The rooms were all above the 40th floor, so the wait for the elevator was a bit long. I checked in at 3 PM on Saturday and was told that the room hadn't been cleaned yet and asked to wait. After my insistence, they initially offered to upgrade my room type, but then said they needed the manager's approval, and the manager was nowhere to be found. Finally, after 30-40 minutes, I was finally able to check into my reserved room. It's understandable that the room was fully booked on the weekend, but if it says check-in is after 2 PM, they should accommodate the customer's needs no matter what. If I hadn't argued, I would have been left waiting for a long time, and then I'd have been left wandering around. I don't think this is the kind of advice a professional hotel should give to its guests. They gave me a gift as an apology, but I don't think it was a good solution. It still left me with a less than pleasant stay.

The hotel is located on Jiefang North Road, surrounded by distinctive buildings, and it's also very close to Jiefang Bridge on a short walk. The room was very comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches like masks, earplugs, and tissues available for guests to use near the elevator. The breakfast was excellent.
