Cozy peaceful location in already peaceful (sugar) town of Tienen. Enjoyed my stay, food and the company of friendly hosts (reception, restaurant and housekeeping) of the hotel. Be your professional best like now, in future as well! See you soon in my future trips to Tienen! All the very best :-)

Excellent modern room with a view of the green park, friendly staff, varied breakfast, prestigious historic building in the centre of the city, a beautiful and cozy brasserie in the hotel, quiet and calm environment, free parking available. Summary: highly recommended.

Excellent hotel . It is an old building but renew inside. Room size is big. The room light and air conditione is centrally control with a controller on the roomwall. Good breakfast. Staff very kind snd helpfull. Dineer ag the restaurand excellent. Good wifi. Reasonable price

I stayed with my older parents and my teenage children on the night of Christmas Day, as we had a Christmas family gathering in the area. The rooms were spacious enough, and my parents even had one suitable for handicapped people, with access by lift and accessible to a wheelchair. We had breakfast the next morning in the brasserie, and could enjoy the atmosphere. A beautiful reception room with mouldings on the ceiling is a reminder that this was a grand house belonging to the town's prominent family. I want particularly to recognise the helpfulness of the manager, who, as we had still not checked in late in the evening of Christmas Day, contacted us and went out of the way to make arrangements to give us access our rooms late at night, which required him to put a great amount of trust in us! This was hugely appreciated. I would like to return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful park that is like the gardens for the hotel. A big thank you again.

hebben ze hier geen vaste kok : mossels opgewarmd :droog : smaakloos : fritten half gebakken : pnten half vol : kermis pinten : saus nog steeds in plsiet frituur potjes deze zaak mist een team ; werkt met prutsers ; steeds nieuwe onbenulen kan beter zelf koken thuis

Mooi hotel in het centrum van de stad op een prachtige locatie met een prachtige tuin/park. Moderne kamers met SUPER goede bedden en kussens !! de kamers zijn compact maar hebben alles. Van een hotel met een dergelijke standing & comfort EN een dergelijke ligging zou je toch verwachten dat het restaurant/brasserie op hetzelfde niveau is, niet? Totaal NIET! Er is wel een groot en ruim terras waar vlot een 100-tal mensen kunnen zitten met een prachtig zicht op de tuin maar dat is het! Een vrij kleine aperokaart... maar 14,50 euro voor een Gin-tonic???? Menukaart is een beetje de standaard brasseriekaart.... Het was de start van het mosselseizoen, dus mosseltjes besteld en kabeljauw in wittewijnsaus. De mosselsaus en de mayonaise komt in voorverpakte plastieken potjes!! De diepvriesfrieten zijn puur karton en de "wittewijnsaus" komt uit een pakje!!! Gelukkig zijn de mosselen en de kabeljauw wel eetbaar. Dus : een simpele brasseriekeuken ONDER de middelmaat! Hier kan veel meer met gedaan worden!!

Hotel gelegen in een gerenoveerd oud en karaktervol gebouw. Mooi gerenoveerd waarbij de originele elementen bewaard bleven. Ruime kamer en zeer netjes. Goede bedden en beddegoed. Ook de brasserie is de moeite met super vriendelijke bediening (ook de dame aan het ontbijt). Een aanrader !
