Portavadie is a beautiful place we use the marina and facilities on a regular basis, staff and food are excellent:-) the only downside is do not bring your phone into the spa and leisure the staff will treat you like a criminal for having or looking at your phone.

Warm March sunshine, clear blue skies welcomed us to this stunning location! An amazing Spa experience by the loch, before a simple check in to our Lodge room. Immaculate! Had time for a beautiful evening walk along the Shore Path before the tastiest evening meal and 'MasterChef standard' dessert. A peaceful, comfortable night's sleep, on a huge bed, and good breakfast in the morning. Wow! Will definitely come back and also recommend to others.

We were 3 couples . We stayed in a 3-bed luxury apartment. Fab accommodation, which was a great size or us. All bedrooms had ensuite. Amazing food. Lovely staff. Fabulous views. Peaceful. Loved outdoor pool which was heated and had great views.Would recommend 100%.Managed to do a good walk, which took about 2 hours.

We were lucky that the weather was warm at the end of December to get there. The journey was exciting but probably impassable with snow and slippery conditions. You are in a place with great nature! You could clean and repair the standard lodge bathrooms better. Please light the way from the lodge to the restaurant! Dinner was delicious and nice but more enjoyable with music, without dogs, kids and large groups. The best waiter is Alastair. Spa experience for 30 pounds could have a separate dressing room and private hydropool upstairs. Good home away from home if you eliminate some of the drawbacks. Good luck to you!

We had a great time, just wished there was an option to have apartment earlier, even if a charge was on offer to allow us time to settle, as it was an overnight stay, just felt pressure to book time for spa use and restaurant. I’m timed in my job everyday and wanted away from that. Spa was half opened due to one life guard, couldn’t have an actual swim after driving 2h 30 mins. Everything was spotless. Very warm in all areas, friendly staff, food was lovely, setting stunning.

This was a return visit and was a lovely way to end the Loch Lomond and Cowal Way. This time we had a studio apartment which was very spacious including full kitchen, lounge area and outside patio. The spa with infinity pool, hot tub and sauna was definitely appreciated at the end of 95km walking! The restaurant food is tasty with friendly and efficient service.

We had the pleasure of staying at portavadie and we could not fault a single thing. The rooms are well equipped and spotless. The spa facilities are out of this world with views that match. The menus have a great variety and every meal was Devine! We had breakfast every morning and dinner on two of the nights, you can tell they use the finest of ingredients and have top tier chefs. But the highlight for us was the service! The staff really went above and beyond and catered to our every need. As I had planned to propose while at portavadie the staff were more than happy to accommodate my plans. I would like to give a special thanks to Alistair, Ciprian and an even bigger thanks Marius who when he found out I had proposed went to get us both a glass of bubbly with a hand made rose out of a napkin for my partner. We will 100% be visiting again in the future. Thanks portavadie!

Had a lovely stay here, great location. staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, fair prices. The room was spotless and the bed was very very comfy. Would definitely recommend, I will without a doubt be coming here again.
