Perfect hotel for writing retreats and relaxation I had a great stay at Das James. The hotel is beautifully designed, combining elegance with a modern and welcoming atmosphere. My room was spacious, stylish, and clean, with high-quality amenities and thoughtful details throughout. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional at every turn. The breakfast was outstanding, and the dinner was good (but not very good). Throughout my stay, everything felt well-organized and cared for. The only small downsides were that the AC wasn’t as powerful as one would prefer when the outside temperature is above 30 degrees and that the soundproofing in my room wasn’t perfect. I could occasionally hear noises from the hallway or neighboring rooms. Overall, Das James is a top-tier hotel that I would gladly return to. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a luxurious and relaxing hotel stay. Absolutely perfect for a writing retreat!

Weekend get away We visited Das James for a weekend get away and we loved every minute of it. We where two adults and our baby boy and we felt so welcome from the second we arrived to we left again. The room and spa area was amazing (small minus that a mistake happens and the kids spa wasn’t heated but was managed very well!). We enjoyed both rooms service and the James farmhouse restaurant and the food was so delicious. This was our first vist but for not our last!
