All the staff at this hotel were beyond kind and helpful ! My bicycle needed repairs and I was driven into town to find someone to fix it. I also wanted to see the bullfights, but it was very far and dark, so they arranged for some great local guys to go with by car. I was amazed with the incredible service that is offered at this hotel, with rooms that all look out over the ocean. On my last day it was raining, wanting to take the ferry and cycle around the island, the hotel kindly offered to have my luggage taken to the port terminal. If ever you find yourself in Tokunoshima I can’t recommend this place more, one of my all time best stays. The food is also delicious and served in hollowed out bamboo shoot plates.
