The Royal Park Hotel Ginza 6-Chome

Facilities: Very thoughtful design, with a hot spring underground, perfect for a trip. Hygiene: Mostly good, public areas are beautiful. Environment: Very convenient surroundings, close to Ginza for shopping, and easy access to the subway. Service: Decent, many tourists stay here.

The 'king-size' bed was actually two twin beds pushed together! The bathroom had a nice wet and dry separation, which was great. Breakfast was decent, especially the congee – that was really good! However, breakfast ends at 10 AM, and they started clearing things away quite early, so if you came down late, there wasn't much left to eat. Service: We left a jacket in our room, and the hotel helped us courier it to our hotel in Osaka, which was very helpful. Environment: The soundproofing wasn't great. There was a lot of loud street racing at night, which was incredibly noisy and disturbing!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few hundred meters from Higashi-Ginza Station on the Asakusa Line. If you have luggage, you can use exits A1 or A3, which have elevators and escalators – very convenient. As expected from a Japanese hotel, it's impeccably clean and tidy, with its only drawback being the smaller room size. The lobby is on the second floor, and the breakfast is pretty good too. Ginza is just a few minutes' walk away, which is fantastic for shopping, exploring, and dining. I'd definitely stay here again.
