9h Nine Hours Akasaka Sleep Lab

The worst experience in my life! I impressed with photos of the hotel and design but all of them is a nice marketing and good photoshop skills. I am really sorry. I stayed 2 nights in Tokyo. I also stayed 9 Hours in Fukuoka but that one is not like, very bad experience. The facilities is very poor. There is no information that the personal lockers only fit with small cabin size. That is why they offer in ground floor a messy area. Each morning and night I must carry my luggage with elevators and it was time and effort, not useful and the baggage area is messy and not secure. I always try to find my luggage because people change the location each time. The shower room and toilet is very bad, small and not clean. It smells very bad and there are mold in shower. The toilet is for children not for adults size, very very small. The team of the hotel always warn about luggage and change my luggage location it is a shame to change my luggage floor and carry another place without my permission. Also there is no space to organize luggage in lockers floor so we try to make it in lobby. They warned but there is no space to make it. I booked the capsule with sleeping report but it is not work. In the capsule it was a noise because of the camera system and not possible to sleep. The hotel team not changed my capsule even though there is a space other capsule just quick solve to close the report system so I cannot get the report. Also the bed is not comfortable. Please before to stay here, you need to take into action with bad reviews. All bad reviews are not personal, they are real experiences.

I booked 7 January for a trip mid February. I clicked on the link on their web page to book one night for my daughter and I. Travelling from the uk it was something she wanted to experience. I like to book direct, trying to save the venue fees, I wish I hadn’t this time. If you book, use *******! All communication is in Japanese which I’m happy to google translate but at no point did the message say “one hour booking” it did say “Plan name: day use plan” I thought it meant one day, as in one night …completely my error, please learn from my mistake. That meant I’d booked for an hour!! It never even occurred to me, I clicked the check in date and “1” thinking it was 1 night. I’m not sure I’d want my 14 year old daughter staying somewhere where rooms are not lockable and they are bookable by the hour, so maybe a good swerve… Anyway, reception were polite in telling me that they had no space and we were on the street..so there was the plus! Photo added of the street…it was about 7pm! We did stay in a nice hotel in the end.

Nice residential location for the hotel, but very small inside so was difficult at peak hours when there were lots of people moving around. Other than that, nice service as expected at nine hours, good facilities and received by sleep report a couple weeks later.

They need a larger locker space for people to unpack etc. They also need to upgrade their showers (there was a bit of mould). Other than that great experience would consider for solo travellers

Everything is great except that a constant noise during sleep . Not sure what is about . Forgot to ask

Hello, The sleep lab was an amazing experience. Never before have I slept in capsule and found it super comfy and peaceful. Slept very well. The receptionist was very helpful and kind. Thank you

Basically, it was clean and comfortable. I would like more electrical outlets, and the drainage in the shower room needs to flow a little more.
