The room had a good variety of power outlets, though only one or two were practical for Chinese guests. A makeup mirror and a full-length mirror were provided. Hot water was available on the ground floor, and the self-service toiletries were very comprehensive. The room was quite spacious by Japanese standards, but those with large suitcases might find it a bit challenging to fully open them. The front desk staff were friendly and had a translation device. Self-service check-in was available, and the front desk staff were also happy to assist. The hotel's location was easy to find, and the bed was very comfortable. The only downsides were the weak bathroom ventilation, which made it a bit stuffy, and a shortage of power sockets.

The location was really convenient - a short 5 minute walk from Oji station which has the Keihin Tohoku line making trips to Ueno, Tokyo and Ginza a breeze. Tabata station is two stops away which gives access to the Yamanote line for places like Ikebukuro, Shinjuku and Shibuya. There are a few convenience stores and supermarkets nearby too. I was able to leave my luggage with the front desk before the check in time. They were also really helpful with the self check-in process. The room was neat and tidy. I would say it was spacious enough for a solo traveller but couples or those with big suitcases might have trouble organising their luggage due to the limited floor space. The only downside I would say was a sudden stale smell emitting from the bathroom on one of the nights. I had to close to door to prevent it from spreading and the smell was still there the next morning but was gone after I came back likely from the daily room service. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch too but there are also two nearby bakeries if you want more options other than the onigiri and miso soup they provide. Honestly, I wouldn't mind booking the same place when I come back to visit Japan.

Everything else was excellent. The only slight drawback was the breakfast, which was a bit monotonous, offering only rice balls. The front desk service was superb, and I was very pleased. However, the rice balls did come in a good variety of flavors, about five or six types. The cafeteria staff were also very friendly.

Brilliant hotel in a cosy quiet location but not so far from the main sights and train stations. Wonderful reception, very helpful and eager to provide great experience!

The hotel is approximately a 7 mins walk from the oji station north exit. Easy to find and convenient to different tourist spots. The room is clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

I go to Japan for Fan meeting at Hokutoia. This hotel is so close the hall. Convenience for travel. Near Ojo station.

Nice and clean place to stay. Staffs were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is so nice! Will surely be back if i ever go to Tokyo again!

I stayed at this hotel because I had a class at Kita-Topia in front of the station. The location was perfect for me, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to use. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was included. I would have liked some vegetables and side dishes, but overall I was satisfied. The vending machine was in front of the front desk in the lobby, so I felt a bit hesitant to just drop off in my pajamas.

The travel agency got the name wrong, so checking in was a little confusing, but the service was quick and courteous. The rice balls and soup at breakfast were very delicious. The staff were also very friendly and helpful at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is great, just a short walk from the northeast exit of JR Oji Station. The room was small, but had everything you need. Matsuya and a convenience store are nearby. The hotel also includes breakfast, which is simple but delicious, with a variety of rice balls, three types of soup, two types of bread, three types of fruit and vegetable juice, and coffee. Overall, it's a very cost-effective hotel.

The room was a standard Japanese size and quite close to Oji Station. There's also a FamilyMart, Lawson, and 7-Eleven nearby. I hardly saw any Chinese people in the hotel, so it felt like I was immersing myself in a local neighborhood. The free breakfast consisted of rice balls, miso soup, a small bread roll, and fruit and vegetable juice for two consecutive days. The miso soup was quite delicious. I was there to see Billie's concert, and it was very convenient to take the Tohoku Line directly to Shintoshin Station. Overall, I was very satisfied. 👍🏻
