I’m writing this review immediately after checking in because I want to warn people away from this Ginza hotel as soon as possible. Previously, after my last stay, I actually highly recommended this hotel on platforms like 'Xiaohongshu', and my posts typically got over 50,000 views. If you searched for this hotel, my notes would usually be among the top results. First off, I’m not a shill or a marketer; I genuinely reviewed and recommended it based on my actual experiences. That's why I booked a two-night stay again this time. I’ve pretty much stayed at all the hotels in the core Ginza area, and I returned to this one based on my previous positive experience. However, the contrast was huge: the room facilities are worse and much older than last year, the bedding and mattress were very dirty (the duvet cover was pulled back, revealing dirt inside), the check-in staff were unhelpful and dismissive of questions, and issues reported were not resolved promptly. Every year, I stay at various hotels worldwide, and 5-star or even higher-grade hotels are my preference. I believe high-quality service is what everyone seeks. In the core Ginza area, this hotel's price is comparable to any other, but its only advantage is its proximity to Ginza. Otherwise, there’s nothing special: the small road leading to the hotel entrance is dark and hard to find, the hotel door is so small you can barely see it, the front desk is just a few tables with almost no view, and all rooms face an elevated highway, offering no view whatsoever—you can’t even see Tokyo Tower (whereas many nearby hotels offer views of it). Yet, this hotel is more expensive than other hotels with views, even pricier than some 5-star hotels, while its environment and service are worse than a budget inn. During peak season, it’s 3500+ a night (without breakfast), and in the off-season, rooms are 2000+ (without breakfast). With breakfast, it’s even more expensive (3000 off-season, 4000 peak season). The rooms are tiny; basic rooms don't even have a wardrobe for clothes, and the service is poor. The front desk on the second floor is cramped and worse than a budget inn. What gives you the confidence to offer such low-end service? If the environment and service matched the price, I’d have no complaints. But you’re selling 'pre-cooked meals' at 5-star prices, which is utterly unreasonable. There are countless better hotels of comparable quality in Ginza. You are truly far behind. At the very least, your management and service have deteriorated, while prices have increased! After this, I will never stay here again. I’m changing from a recommender to a dissuader; I hope everyone avoids this hotel. Why spend the same money when you can choose one of the many better hotels nearby? You can also see the attached pictures; even as an official Ctrip representative communicating with the hotel, I felt the hotel was incredibly unresponsive! So, for an ordinary guest, the hotel's service attitude speaks for itself. I’m mainly writing this to help people visiting Ginza avoid this hotel. I guarantee, as a top-tier Ctrip member, there are no false descriptions in my review. I hope Ctrip officially displays and objectively publishes my review as a reference for future visitors to Ginza choosing a hotel. I'd also like to express my appreciation for the care and service of the Ctrip housekeeper, who upheld a highly responsible spirit of prioritizing customer interests and provided quick service efficiency. No matter where you are or what difficulties you encounter, Ctrip is always trustworthy!
