A very solid hotel, but it’s important to understand what it is — a premium line of a very large, mass-market brand.
The hotel is modern, stylish, clean, and clearly well organized. Rooms are comfortable, the bed is excellent, and everything feels thought through from a functional point of view. We had a room with a balcony, which was a big plus and really elevated the experience. Public areas are pleasant, well designed, and the onsen is also a nice bonus after a long day in the city.
At the same time, the service feels efficient rather than personal. Everything works smoothly, but there’s a clear sense of scale — it feels a bit like a well-run hospitality factory. Professional, polite, but somewhat impersonal. This is not a place where you feel individually taken care of, and it doesn’t really compete with true five-star hotels in terms of service depth or warmth.
Overall, for the price, it’s a very good option: clean, comfortable, stylish, predictable. Just don’t expect boutique vibes or luxury-level attention. It’s about comfort, organization, and consistency — and within that frame, it does its job very well.
