Pearl Hotel Ryogoku Reviews

The hotel is located directly opposite the Ryogoku Kokugikan, which is very convenient. It's a mere 1-minute walk from the West Exit of Ryogoku Station on the JR Sobu Line, and that minute even includes waiting at a traffic light. The convenience is excellent, with direct access to Shinjuku via the Sobu Line. The surrounding area boasts a great selection of eateries, including yakiniku (grilled meat), sushi, izakayas, and even Marusuisan. Behind the station, there's a drugstore, a small supermarket, and convenience stores, making it incredibly handy. You can even see the Tokyo Skytree from the window. As is typical for business hotels in Japan, the room is quite small. Due to its proximity to an overpass and the train station, the environment is very noisy, so earplugs are essential for sleeping at night. The room isn't cleaned daily, but towels are replaced and trash is collected. Other than that, there's not much else to mention. But the main point is that it's cheap—a no-brainer for around 300 yen. What more could you ask for?

The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped. The price was quite reasonable, especially considering it was close to New Year's. The hotel is right across from the train station, making transportation super convenient. It's only one stop away from Akihabara, and even when I came back late at night, there were 24-hour chain restaurants nearby for food.

Close to Ryogoku station yellow line. Beside of Sumida river. Can see Tokyo sky tree from the hotel. Interiors are just normal. Good size and comfy enough. Recommends for travel who are looking for budget friendly and great location.

Very close to the Ryogoku station! You can literally see the station once you get off the train. Nice place with sumo wrestling atmosphere!

The hotel is well located near the Ryogoku station, and about 5min from the Edo Tokyo Museum. I would not recommend for a long stay, but it is ok for a few days

Everything was great, but it's a bit too close to the subway, and the 'morning call' (from the subway) was a fixed feature.

It's an older and very basic hotel. It's ok just to stay a night with a comfortable bed and a hot shower but don't expect for anything else extra. I can't even find a garbage can inside the room. Front counter service was excellent though. For what's available I think it's a little bit over priced. Another plus it's just right across a JR train station.

Location was good. Room was small and clean. No water or tea/coffee in the room. Aircon did not work and it was warm on my first night. Opening the window was not an option! The breakfast was ok. 2 bottles of water were left outside my door the next day!

A business hotel located in front of the station. The room size, bathroom, and everything else were just right and comfortable.

Location of hotel is very close to west exit of Ryokoku station. Many restaraunt around the station.

Facility seems a little bit old, but cleanliness, service was excellent. However it's location could be a little bit far away for any travelers who plan to visit places like Shinjuku or Shibuya. By the way, I was able to see the Tokyo Skytree by the window, so the view was excellent.

The room is not soundproof, which makes it unsuitable for truly relaxing. Cool air can get into the room at night. However, the location is very convenient.

The building and room is old building but well maintenance and clean. Breakfast menu well enough for breakfast and incharge chef very care with us about recommend food for muslim guest, thank you chef. We didn’t expect the location ver in front of station and easy to finf food. The service during stayed proper although very difficult to reach out the staff before arrival by email for asking about extra bed or additional breakfast.

The hotel is ideally located very close to Ryogoku subway station, just two stops from Akihabara. I noticed relatively fewer Chinese visitors and more Westerners in the vicinity. Sumo is a prominent feature of this area; for instance, the subway station is adorned with numerous large portraits of sumo wrestlers. There's also a lively sumo arena nearby, and you'll find famous sumo hot pot restaurants in the vicinity.
