Dormy Inn Akihabara Hot Spring

I had a great stay at Dormy Inn Akihabara. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but small sufficient for a solo traveller, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to explore the area. The complimentary onsen and late-night ramen were a really nice touch. I’d happily stay here again.

The accommodations were awesome, accessible to Subway in less than 5min, and can soak into a hot spring after you shop all day long.. nearby got supermarket, 7-11, Lawson, family mark and more.. come and explore it.. free mini ramen for your supper.. hehe

The toilet flushing system gives a very bad smell for days. The room corners and doors actually have a lot of dust on it. Poor cleaner limited time n nan power Hope they can improve on clearing the dust - basin shelf areas, toilet door, near mirror. The 2 pillows are too flat and my neck was in pain for some days in the mornings. But all the rest of service, onsen and night snack made up for it. The breakfast is almost the same every morning - please change the chicken meatball dish, it's not nice. The eel rice was initially ok but after eating for few days, i can't eat for a week. Changed to eat clear porridge better. Wish they can be clear which omelette has mushrooms or not - love the ones with mushrooms. A lady who works night shift came to my room to help me with my rubbish as i didn't need them to come into my room when i was unwell so i put the no cleaning magnet but she went the extra mile beyond cleaning hours to help me throw my rubbish. For the toothbrush n paste set, for those staying for a week, we don't need so many toothbrush but the paste more. But had to take 2-3 sets which is not environmental friendly due to the toothbrushes that come together.

The hotel is located very conveniently to station and restaurants. Has a very large outdoor hot spring.

 As a Canadian I love staying here. It was really great, good location and not that busy. Staff are friendly.
