Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-Tamachi

The room was quite spacious, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. There's a self-serve beverage machine in the lobby offering sodas, and the front desk staff can communicate in English. The location is good, just one stop from Shinagawa Station, and convenient for getting to Ginza. Overall, I didn't stay long, but it felt like a cozy hotel.

My first hotel stay in Tokyo was very comfortable. The location is great, situated in the bustling Minato Ward, about an 800-meter walk from JR Motomachi Station. From the hotel, you can even see the Tokyo Tower 🗼 after about a 300-meter stroll. The hotel provides a comprehensive range of disposable amenities. Besides the standard slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers, and combs, they also offer scrubbing towels, and for women, toner, lotion, makeup remover, and facial cleanser, plus pajamas. Japanese hotels really excel in the little details. For instance, the bathroom mirror has an anti-fog feature, there's bedside dimmable lighting, and even universal power adapters. The hotel's inner courtyard was particularly stunning, incorporating elements of a Japanese dry garden.

The hotel is newly renovated and incredibly clean. Its location in the Minato area is super convenient. You can even borrow a ReFa curling iron for free! The room size is standard for Tokyo. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

First stop in Japan. It was quite a walk from the airport line station after getting off the subway. The underground station was a maze, but thankfully the navigation apps are so accurate now, otherwise I would have definitely gotten lost in the subway.
