The Prince Park Tower Tokyo - Preferred Hotels & Resorts, LVX Collection

The hotel in the famous shiba park, very close to Tokyo station. We were there for tokyo marathon weekend, unfortunately the free train ticket inside the bib package cannot use in the train line next to the hotel. We are blocked out from the station entry gate. It seems only Tokyo metro lines can use this ticket but none of them running next to our hotel. So sad. After running we have to walk long distance in order to use this “free” ticket. One of the problems from Tokyo marathon, hope they can fix it next year. But we do have a very beautiful icon of Tokyo, the Tokyo tower and cherry blossom next to it.

I booked and paid for Club Lounge access at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo while traveling with my family and young child, expecting service consistent with a premium property. Breakfast hours were stated as 7:00–11:00, and we arrived within that timeframe. At the time, there were no hot breakfast options suitable for children — only raw salmon, toast, and a small selection of pastries. When we asked staff, we were told there were no other options and that each guest was limited to one set. The hotel later claimed we had arrived during a “break period” (8:30–9:00), which had never been communicated. Communication then stopped for three days before we received photos of a fully stocked breakfast taken at a different time, implying the issue was our personal preference. It was not about preference — it was about limited availability during official service hours. We provided our own photos and videos, but the response felt defensive rather than accountable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the Club Lounge to families traveling with young children and would advise others to reconsider their expectations carefully. Premium hospitality is defined by consistency and integrity, not presentation alone.
