amazing garden with great atmosphere. feel much relaxed in stay

I wish the hot spring is much bigger compared to the other facilities of the hotel. The hot spring is small Ans just in door. The garden is spectacular and very good service.

Although the hotel has a long history, it is very well maintained including the public areas and the guest rooms. The SPA was great with a calming atmosphere. The gym was a bit old but had enough facilities to support the workout. We enjoyed the restaurants and the activities in the garden.

Hotel is excellent, but location is on top of a hill and quite a distance from the nearest subway. Suggest that hotel provides regular shuttle service to subway

Not the most bustling area of town/city if that’s what you are looking for. But a really really nice and grand hotel with banquet rooms and nice pretty garden that looks amazing day and night. Room was big and spacious and we even got tempur beds that could be raised/lowered at a touch of a button!

Actually this is the hotel that I proposed on 25.3.2023 and everything is so perfect and thank you for the help from the hotel. We did enjoy every moment no matter the photo taking or the walking at the huge garden. This is the best hotel that I ever see.

The location is slightly off, not in the city center, but acceptable; upgraded garden view room, the room area is larger, renovated, complete facilities, reasonable and comfortable; the biggest feature is a beautiful and exquisite Japanese courtyard, it is already late December, you can still see red maple here, and the sea of ​​clouds will be created regularly every day; because it is an old hotel, it has history and heritage, the lobby, supporting facilities, and public spaces all reveal a noble atmosphere. It is Christmas, there is a Christmas performance in the lobby at night, and there is a Christmas snowman projection in the courtyard, the atmosphere is full; there are also many restaurants, which need to be booked in advance. I had eel rice and enjoyed it very much; there is a small paid hot spring, the highlight is the hot spring water shipped from Ito; the service is very good, and the staff are very friendly; Waseda University is not far away, you can go to the school cafeteria to have a meal while visiting; those who like architecture will be surprised to find that the St. Mary's Cathedral, one of the masterpieces of the first Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, is just across the road.
