Room look a bit outdated.. I believe some rooms on some floors are currently undergoing renovation which is good. Complimentary coffee sachets (in addition to the complimentary green tea sachets and roasted green tea sachets) and complimentary disposable shavers woud be nice. Laundry service was prompt and super good. Housekeeping team did a very good job in keeping the rooms clean. Convenient limousine bus stop to both Haneda and Narita airports just outside the main street entrance of the hotel. Would consider staying there again if I visit Tokyo again in the near future.

The room was a decent size and located about 8–10 minutes from the market area. However, the main issue was the smell in the room. It had an unpleasant odor, similar to sweat. We tried to air it out by turning on the air conditioner, but it was a central AC system and couldn’t be adjusted to our desired temperature. Overall the experience was average.

The triple room was quite spacious, easily accommodating three suitcases. The area in front of the bathroom was also very large. Downstairs, you have direct access to Sunshine City, and upstairs are the aquarium and observatory (floor 60). It's a 14-minute walk to the subway station, which we did every day.

The room felt stuffy and dry with poor ventilation. I only discovered a red stain on the duvet in the middle of the night. The breakfast tasted okay, but it was too chaotic with a poorly designed layout. The tables and chairs were of poor quality, and hot water refills were slow. Although JR Ikebukuro Station is a bit further, the walk is straightforward with fewer ups and downs compared to Higashi-Ikebukuro, which was a plus.

hotel is amazing! was allowed to check in around midnight as we arrived late by train from kyoto, reception was very friendly! room : very spacious & clean [10/10] location : very good, located above sunshine city & within 5min walking distance to ikebukuro, train stations were a little far at least 8mins walk [9.5/10] cost : good & reasonable considering location & room size ($163 sgd for 2) [9.5/10] miku & I enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます！
