Worst Hotel Experience in Tokyo – Never Again
I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
The biggest issue was the iron. I requested an iron four different times over four consecutive days. Every single time, I was told there wasn’t one available and that I had to wait up to six hours. The only way I could finally get one was by repeatedly going down to the front desk, arguing with the staff, and raising my voice because they simply ignored my requests. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this size.
The front desk staff were also very disappointing. They were unfriendly, unprofessional, and did not know how to speak to guests respectfully. Instead of trying to help, their attitude often felt defensive and even aggressive.
The room was extremely small—barely suitable for one person, let alone two adults with luggage.
Another disappointing policy was charging 1,000 yen per person for a late checkout, even if you’re only a few minutes past 12:00 PM. There was absolutely no flexibility or understanding.
Overall, I will never stay at this hotel again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. There are many better hotels in Tokyo that provide much better customer service and treat their guests with respect. This hotel seriously needs to improve both its customer service and guest experience. ⭐☆☆☆☆
