Hotel Tomakomai Green Hills

It was an old hotel, but the service was good and it was clean. There was an extension cord in the room, so I felt like it met all my needs.

The building is old, but it was well-cleaned. Breakfast is included, which is nice. I'll definitely stay here again, as my business trip destination is nearby.

The location is excellent, and the front desk staff are very friendly and provide detailed explanations. The hotel offers parking, which is very convenient for travelers with cars. The breakfast is a very generous buffet.

The hotel itself is very close to the JR station, but unfortunately, JR trains to Tomakomai are very infrequent, running only about once an hour in the evening. You really have to plan your time carefully, otherwise, like me, I waited a full 48 minutes at Minami-Chitose before a train returned to Tomakomai. The hotel staff were very helpful; although they only spoke Japanese, they understood what I needed and were happy to assist me.

If you are staying for business, it feels adequate. If you are traveling, it may be a little better.

A little small hotel. Old but clean and comfortable. There are only 10 parking spaces on the ground, so it's first come, first served. After that, you have to park in the multi-storey car park in front of the station.
