We really enjoyed our stay at Dormy Inn Hotel. One of the highlights has to be all the little complimentary treats – free ramen for guests before 11pm, a coffee machine in the lobby, ice cream if you use the onsen before 1am, and probiotic drink in the morning onsen before 10am. All these small touches really made our stay feel special.
The onsen itself was great, especially the outdoor bath on the rooftop where you can soak while looking up at the night sky – such a relaxing experience.
Only downside was the parking. It seems there aren’t enough spaces for all guests, and the lot right beside the hotel is actually reserved for staff. We ended up using the paid parking nearby, but since Tomakomai is a small town, it was only about 600 yen for 24 hours – not too bad in the end.
Overall, a comfortable stay with thoughtful perks and a lovely onsen. Would happily come back!
