The room had children's books, toys, and a foosball table, so my baby was entertained all by themselves. There were also plenty of baby essentials, which was great. Both beds were 1.2 meters, which isn't ideal for one adult and a baby to share. I asked for an extra duvet, but the front desk said they were in high demand during winter and had none left. When I returned to the hotel late at night, I needed mineral water but couldn't find any staff. The next day, I needed to rent a baby stroller and was told I had to go to the service center to pick it up; they couldn't deliver it to the hotel. Otherwise, everything else was quite good. All the hotel staff I encountered were very enthusiastic and did their best to meet our needs. The luggage storage service, which allowed us to send our bags to the service center, was also very convenient.

All the hotels and guesthouses in the ancient town belong to the same company and can be booked through various platforms or WeChat official accounts. Check-in is at the visitor center. If you have luggage, you can ask the front desk to arrange for it to be transported to your hotel or guesthouse. You can also have your luggage transported to the visitor center upon check-out. This way, tourists with luggage can start exploring without worry. During busy weekends and holidays, check-in time may be as late as 2 or 3 pm. Hotel stays include unlimited entry and exit tickets to the scenic area, which is quite cost-effective. We stayed at the Xianzitan Guesthouse, Room A, located near the North Watchtower on the snack street, about a five- or six-minute walk from the visitor center. It's about a seven- or eight-minute walk to Shilang Wharf and a two- or three-minute walk to the Xiyuan Mansion electric vehicle station. The guesthouse was very clean, and the rooms were spacious. Although it was by the water, there was no musty smell. The back door opens onto a covered corridor, and waking up in the morning to the sounds of birdsong, still water, and lush greenery is a delightful experience. The room facilities were also quite complete; the TV even received many international channels such as HBO, Phoenix TV, and CNN. Breakfast, though simple, was clean, delicious, and healthy; the millet porridge is highly recommended. Lunch and dinner can also be booked. The braised pork with preserved mustard greens was amazing, and the pork belly wasn't too fatty. The housekeeper was very welcoming and even gave us complimentary fruit. Because we were tired from walking around in the morning, and because the rooms were full and the previous day's guests had checked out late, the housekeeper expedited the cleaning of our room, which we were originally supposed to check in at 3 PM, so we could go in and rest around 1 PM. There's a wonton, shumai, and steamed bun shop opposite the guesthouse's front entrance; the food is fantastic. The guesthouse is divided into two courtyards, A and B. Room A is in courtyard A, and room B is in courtyard B. Courtyard B is also where the local café is located.

We booked the Clam Beach and upgraded to Mei Shang. The hotel facilities are good and they also arranged room decoration because it was our wedding anniversary trip. It would be more reasonable if the bathroom door opened inwards like the shower room

Compared to the Meishang Hotel in Puyuanli, the Xianzitan Hotel with a waterfront walkway can be considered a central location, but the breakfast is not very good, which is not proportional to the price of eight or nine hundred yuan. You can call a free shuttle bus at the door for easy access.

Puyuan gave us a big surprise. The inn is located next to the Beigeng Tower, with a good location and not far from the service center. The service was very meticulous. From the moment we added WeChat the day before arrival, we felt the warm care. Xiao Ginkgo was waiting for us in the parking lot and helped us carry our luggage to the room. Because the elderly at home had difficulty walking, he also helped us move from the second floor to the first floor. The WeChat group answers questions and provides help at any time, which is really thoughtful. The rooms on the first floor are along the river, so you can watch the light boats parading at night. Every boat will greet the children warmly. There are not many tourists in Puyuan, so it is relatively quiet. Of course, the disadvantage may be that there are not so many food options in the ancient town, but it is quiet and beautiful overall. There are beautiful scenery everywhere when walking, and activities such as puppet shows and handmade lanterns are also good. Very suitable for a weekend family outing.

The old town is great and the hotel is great. It's a good place for a parent-child outing. The door of the hotel room leads to a small river channel, which feels great. The breakfast format is also very innovative. The whole ancient town is quite large and there is also shuttle bus service.

The town is sparsely populated, very clean, beautiful, and not heavily commercialized. You don't have to queue anywhere, and it is very convenient to bring the elderly and children. I hope that even when there are more people in the future, the experience will still be as good. The room is facing the river. The room is very large. You can feed the fish in the river from the window on the second floor. You can still see the fish in the river clearly from the second floor. The river is clean. Eating breakfast on the open air street is very interesting and a feature not found anywhere else.

The room is large, clean, the breakfast noodles are delicious, and the view from the window is beautiful. However, at 7am on the second day of my stay, a staff member was playing a radio loudly at the door and did not stop until I opened the door to stop him.

The hotel is not far from the entrance of Puyuan Ancient Town. Overall it is ok, with a rich breakfast and welcome fruits.
