Globalstay. Modern Downtown Apartments

Nice property across from convention center with excellent fitness facilities. Did not like picking up key in lockbox in dingy convenience store which was late.

AVOID and save yourself some serious stress!! Globalstay is the company who manage the bookings on behalf of the apartment owner. They are RUBBISH. To pick up apartment key you have to go to a local grocery store - the company only send us half the PIN code and not the code to the safe where the key was stored. 8pm stood on a freezing Toronto street they would not pick up their phone to help me get the key. I did not have any internet so had to go to a local coffee shop and contact the holiday company who I booked through who then called Globalstay to obtain the other half of the PIN code. We checked out at 11.50am and I sat and waited in the seating area lobby on the ground flow whilst my husband went to return a rental car. The Afro Caribbean concierge person came to ask why I was sitting there I explained that we had just checked out from 1902 and I was waiting for my husband to return. He kep asking how long he would be. A short while later he came again and said why are you still here and why hasn’t your husband come. He said I will give you 10 minutes. Unfortunately my husband was running late due to heavy traffic. He told me leave the lobby seating area immediately m. So I was stood outside the apartment block with my suitcases in freezing cold temperatures. Never in my life have I ever been asked to leave a lobby area whilst waiting - especially when I’ve just paid to stay 2 expensive nights in the apartment. Concierge haarassment at its bestAVOID AVOID AVOID.

Location is great, just near CN tower but cleanliness of the property was not good. We had also one day water disruption due to maintenance, also showers were not working properly. The room was quite big and comfortable tough for 3 people. Easy to access to anywhere in the city center by walking but I don’t advise to go there by car because parking is too much expensive.

A clean, comfortable and well-equiped apartment with quite a great view on the West part of Toronto Center. Located at the very center of the city, next to the CN Tower. I had a great time them. Three caveat: (1) on the three elevators to reach the 36th floor (on 49), only one was working, resulting in long wait and packed journeys. I had been informed of the problem and it was ok, but I was told by permanent unhabitant that it is recurrent problem; (2) the ventilation in the bathroom is very noisy and I had to turn off the fuse on the electric board for quietness; and (3) the concierge does not accept to keep your luggage - knowing that check out time is at noon and my flight was at 7 pm, I was deprived of a last walk in the city and went too early to the airport despite a wonderful weather. Without these (accordingly minor) problems, my stay would have been just perfect!

This condo 2614, needs some major work. Walls were dirty, had drip and hands prints everywhere. Paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling. Shower water pressure was non-existent, bedroom slider was falling apart, pillows are old and flat. Very disappointing. Only benefit was close to skydome.

We changed our booking to this “upmarket” “premium “ apartment due to its location, partial lake view & photos of the apartment. The location is good as is the view and the terrace pool with its view of the CN tower is lovely. Unfortunately the apartment does not meet expectations. While everything is broadly as per the photos it is not currently in premium condition. There was quite a lot of things we reported when we checked in like burn on the sofa, stains on the bedroom carpet, marks on the woodwork, stain on the sink & dents / marks on the wall. After check in we also spotted mould in the shower, dust on the bathroom ceiling fan, water marks on the walls, damaged light shade and mould around the washing machine which had a peculiar smell so we did not use. On the positive side the place was broadly clean as was the mis-matched towels & the bed was comfortable & had a fairly good nights sleep. With some TLC, bathroom upgraded and decoration I’m sure it could be premium again.

Location: great Property: great Loading/unloading: more convenient than I thought. Car can be parked either front or back side of the building easily Only 1 key was provided: very inconvenient ( management just said that’s the rule) Check in: bit confusing Price: not cheap but fair considering the location and season/time

Great location about a 1-2 blocks north of the CN tower and aquarium. Public parking located directly across the street and grocery store one block away. Building and unit were clean and well maintained. Our particular unit was not very child friendly for young children. Had access to all the needed amenities within a the unit and a nice rooftop pool/ amenity floor.

My wife and I came to Toronto for a concert at Rogers Centre and this apartment was the perfect place to stay - location is amazing!! 5 min walk from Union Station / right across the street from Rogers Centre / 10 min walk to the Harbour Front. The apartment is very safe access, small and modern with everything advertised. Communication with the property managers was also top notch - if you have any questions / need clarification on anything, they get back to you quickly. And for those who don’t know the area - close to multiple restaurants plus there is a Starbucks right next to the apartment building and a Tim Hortons a block away. Will definitely look at staying here again in the future!
