Alexander Beachfront Apartments

Mix up with apartment so spent one night in 10 then moved to 12. Had to find accomodation for last night as they were booked apparently. I was under the impression we’d booked a full ocean view apartment, but you are allocated whatever us available. They only have two full ocean view, the rest are in side street, so limited view. Felt apartment could have been cleaner and lack of pantry meant food had to be left on the bench. Table on balcony was broken round the edge, had to be careful where you sat. Only one chair had a cushion. The bed was like sleeping on a trampoline, Felt glass top coffee table in lounge area was unnecessary as you couldn’t use footrest in up position and reach it. Made area very tight to move around. Not close to shops or restaurants unless you have a car, so we used taxis and the excellent bus service. Traffic noise was a problem if you wanted to leave door open and watch tv. Manager lacked knowledge of local area and things to do. The plus was the sunsets

Excellent place to stay. Our apartment (number 11) was clean, well appointed & very comfortable, has fans in both bedrooms as well as main area. Aircon in lounge/kitchen area too. Located away from busy shops so nicely quiet. Beach across the road is great. Beds comfortable and the apartment is spacious, great washing machine, dryer as well although we didn't use dryer. Excellent large balcony, perfect place to watch the world go by. Manager was really friendly and welcoming. Safe, secure parking with a lift to the apartment. Well priced and highly recommended.
