Kingston House

Lovely friendly welcome from Alli and Michael, the room was fabulous, breakfast delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a very relaxed stay and would highly recommend, thank you! Xx

Kingston House is easily accessible and is on a main road. There is off road parking. There were never more than 3 cars when we were there so parking was never a problem. Kingston House is a beautiful Victorian building, tastefully decorated with lovely pots of shrubs outside. Inside it is light and bright and so clean. We used the lounge several times and it is a great place to meet and chat with other guests. There are bowls of chocs and fruit around the place which are for guests to help themselves to. We had The Palms bedroom, a very spacious room which had air con, heating, tv, ensuite shower room, kettle, coffee machine and Alexa, which provided us with some enjoyment. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage. We stayed 10 days and every morning we were greeted with a very cheerful "good morning" from both Alli and Michael. Breakfast was a great meal with lots of choice and Michael's excellent cooking. Food was of excellent quality and always hot. The atmosphere was very free and easy and we were able to come and go with no restrictions. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Alli and Michael.and would have no hesitation returning if the opportunity arose.

Luxury B and B run by by a lovely, friendly couple, Michael and Allison. Spotlessly clean and well appointed with off street parking. Easy walking distance to sea front. Breakfasts were excellent with high quality ingredients and lots of healthy options. We really appreciated the daily cake in the lounge. Lovely relaxing guest lounge with honesty bar too. A brilliant place to stay in Torquay and for visiting surrounding area. We will be back!

This was our second time visiting Torquay and our first at Kingston House B&B. We already knew what to expect of Torquay and it is still a fanastic place to smell the fresh ocean breeze, watch amazing sunrises and sunsets, with lots of other things to do and see, depending on each person's tastes. Alli and Michael added the extra touch to our holiday, as not only does Torquay have much to offer but so do they. We stayed in the room named 'driftwood', however it was prettier and more chique than driftwood itself! The room was well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and accommodating stay. The breakfast cooked by Michael, served and hosted by Alli was marvellously presented and of excellent quality. Love the little flag idea! The room and the house itself was very well decorated, comfortable and super clean. In all honesty we found no fault during our stay. The main thing taken away from our stay at Kingston House was the value of hospitality that Alli and Michael brought to our adventure as it was like staying at a family member's house. As they made us feel very much at home with all that they offered in return as an added extra. Be it baked cakes (which Alli did so well on), offering help on ideas what to do and visit and more importantly, having those day-day discussions and advice at breakfast, giving the feel that we have known both of them for years. In addition to all the above, their kindness and warmth made Kingston House glow with good vibes and comfort that we haven't received anywhere else and we wouldn't hesitate visiting them again.

Wow! What an amazing experience staying in this B&B is! We were greeted by warm welcoming hosts, the offer of a cup of tea and warm face towels to freshen up! Everything about this B&B is perfection. The room we stayed in (Driftwood) was exceptionally clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything we could possibly want. Breakfast is a triumph! Big shout out not just to the chef (Michael), but also to his wonderful sous chef Alison! Nothing is too much trouble and the quality of the produce used is fantastic. If you can manage to eat anything else during the day, cake is available in the guest lounge in the afternoon! We will definitely be back. A truly 5* experience.

This was our second visit and we will certainly be returning. You could not find a more welcoming B&B anywhere. The rooms are very comfortable with more amenities than you would expect. The location is terrific, the rooms spotlessly clean, and the service level is exceptional. A special mention must be made about the amazing breakfasts. we look forward to another visit later in the year. Greg & Sue Jones

Two wonderful people. Very attentive fantastic price. Very clean and the star rating is well deserved. If you are going to Torquay then you will find it hard to beat this place. The breakfast was great and filling. We will definitely be going back in the summer and take advantage of the outdoor space drinking the inexpensive wine. If you want quality you will find it hard to better Kingston house
