My partner and I have had the pleasure of staying in some truly exceptional hotels over the years, but Cape of Senses in Lake Garda stands out as one of the best we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional – warm, attentive, and always one step ahead. The staff’s attention to detail was truly second to none, making us feel both relaxed and completely looked after throughout our stay. The hotel itself is a masterclass in design – with a sleek, cinematic style that felt like something from a James Bond film. Think dark, elegant interiors, ultra-premium fixtures and fittings, and a sophisticated atmosphere that caters to guests who appreciate refined luxury. The grounds are immaculate, perfectly manicured and maintained. But the real showstopper? The views. Set high above Lake Garda, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic scenes of the water, framed by mountains. Watching the sunrise or sunset from the terrace is nothing short of magical – a moment that stays with you long after you leave. The food was absolutely outstanding – possibly the best we’ve had in any hotel. Every dish was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The coffee was next-level, and while a couple of cocktails varied slightly depending on who was behind the bar, the overall standard was fantastic. Although this was a work-related trip, we were made to feel like valued leisure guests, and I genuinely believe the service we experienced reflects the standard for everyone who visits. It’s also just a short taxi ride into Garda town, and the hotel will happily arrange transport for you. In summary: Cape of Senses is a gem. Elegant, peaceful, luxurious – and truly deserving of its name. We feel incredibly lucky to have visited and would return in a heartbeat.

Rudest staff and most unwelcoming 5 star I’ve ever stayed in. Every request was treated like an imposition and they always wanted to say no before yes to the most simple of requests. You feel like you’re coming back to angry parents instead of being treated like paying customers. Beds are not comfortable and rooms feel rather basic and not high end. The whole vibe is cold and stark and not in any way cozy or feeling like you’re at home. Would never stay here again. I’ve traveled to 100’s of 5 stars and this is probably among the worst compared to price.

I booked my vacation for my family but only once I checked in on line they canceled my booking because my daughter is under 14. They were willing to let me stay if I had my friends daughter stay with us instead of my daughter because she was 13 turning 14 in September. What’s the difference. This is ridiculous. So I asked for a refund and they refused.

Just finished a three night stay at this spa. Rooms are impeccable, clean and spacious. The view of the lake from the balcony adds to the magic of this relaxing retreat. The staff are happy, friendly and do anything to help make this a wonderful stay. The pools are magnificent as well as the grounds and the spa. All photo worthy and add to the luxurious experience The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 is because of two areas needing improvement. 1- the food is very average overall of I am to compare to other 5 star resorts. Breakfast is the same every day , bar menu is not tasty and dinner was very mediocre. 2- there is no one to service the pool area. It would be nice to have some attendants offering food and drink. It would add to the revenue and also add to the experience. There is also no one to decide the spa locker room or the spa area. Besides these issues we would certainly return! 2-

A truly magical escape. Cape of Senses offers a perfect blend of tranquility, design, and exceptional service. If you're planning a trip to Lake Garda, you absolutely must stay on this side of the lake and at the Cape of Senses - you won't find a better spot anywhere on the lake. While the hotel is new, it doesn't feel cookie-cutter or like it's still trying to get the hang of things - it's truly exceptional. Every member of the hotel staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect, particularly Michele - who knew us by name and recommended the best local restaurants. The property is pristine and meticulously maintained but the real draw is the view of Lake Garda and surrounding mountains. We spent most of our days marveling over the picture-perfect and truly breathtaking views - photos really don't do them justice. The Cape of Senses is perfectly situated in the mountains to see the mountains and towns across the lake (on a clear day). The hotel itself is also stunning, immaculate and expertly designed. The rooms are spacious and all have wonderful views of the property and lake. Our room was a Junior Suite located on the ground floor and I was shocked by how large the room was and that we had a secluded patio. The staff cleaned our room at least twice a day and left little treats each night! Such a lovely touch. The included breakfast was a major highlight - to say it's a buffet is a disservice to the incredible array of delicious and homemade foods. The restaurants at the hotel are expensive and we didn't find the menus particularly interesting so we ventured to the nearby towns along the lake (they are a must see!) and took recommendations from Michele! The bar is well-priced with a great menu of light bites and drinks. Plus, at least two of the nights we were there they had live music in the bar area that everyone really loved. If you're looking for a luxury spa experience, this is where to go. The amenities are clean, modern and never feel busy. There's free, guided yoga and stretching in the mornings and the pools are always a good idea. If you're not interested in the pools, sauna or other spa rooms, you can enjoy one of several relaxation rooms, the gym or other gathering areas. No matter where you are on the property, the wifi is great and the air conditioning is also very good for Italy. My biggest recommendations for your stay are to: go to nearby restaurants for dinner; explore the castle in Torri del Benaco and go to breakfast from the moment it opened until it closes. We went the first week of October and the weather was cool but cozy. I cannot recommend Cape of Senses enough!

From start to finish, an excellent 3 night stay overlooking the lake. Staff always helpful and give the impression they enjoy their work, adds so much to a stay. Restaurants were very comfortable, al fresco one night, indoor on the “storm night”. Breakfast selections also very good. Bar selection good, and staff great. They now know a couple of new cocktails…. Suite itself well presented with nice lake views though the wifi was a bit unstable. Not a sticking point for us. Amidst all this good stuff, one word of caution. The drive to get to the lakeside at Torri del Benaco is a nightmare of twists and turns on narrow roads with sharp bends. The hotel does offer a shuttle service but I think on the occasion we used it the driver maybe thought he was Mad Max Verstappen’s brother. Insane despite our requests to take it easy. Return trip (uphill of course) different driver, much better. Overall, this was our first time on this side of the lake, a good stay. However, remain undecided which side next time.

A new and modern 5-star gem in the southern part of Lake Garda, this hotel is truly exceptional. In my opinion, it ranks among the very best on the entire lake, surpassing even some of the more exorbitantly priced options. The Hotel Cape of Senses excels in every aspect—from its prime location to the stunning pool and luxurious sun loungers. The staff is exceptionally friendly, highly skilled, and well-trained. The restaurant is superb, especially for dinner, though it's also a fantastic lunch spot. I highly recommend this outstanding hotel to anyone visiting the southern shores of Lake Garda.
