Tucked away in an otherwise anonymous suburb, this place is a real oasis. It is an old Manor House, surrounded by a leafy garden and hidden from the street. The moment you step inside the large metal gates, it feels special - beautifully furnished with antiques, but with plenty of modern comforts too, including excellent bedding and a good bathroom. Dominique and Veronique made us very welcome, and provided a good breakfast with home made yoghurt, home made jams, juice and fresh bread and croissants. Although La Heraudiere is 3 km from the city centre, it’s an easy tram ride - so saving on parking hassles. It’s also a very good place to stay if you’re travelling by car, as we were, because there is good secure off street parking. Strongly recommended.

We were lucky enough to stay in the original farmhouse section of the property. We had our own entrance from the garden and an interconnecting door to the rest of the property. A room full of character and history. Our hosts were charming and the breakfast was excellent. Secure parking was a bonus. The tram stop for the centre of Tours was only a ten minute walk away. A shame we were only here for one night as this would be an excellent base for exploring the area of La Loire.

The host was extremely caring and helpful. He describes his B&B as countryside in the city and it truly is. We were only able to stay there one night. I wish it had been longer.

This renovated farmhouse now in an urban area was the best accommodation we experienced on our road trip along the Loire Valley. The location is a few kilometres from the city centre but this had been explained to us and it was close to a tram route. It was renovated to a high level and clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with homemade produce. Lack of recent reviews is probably down to the use of ***********. I would encourage people to use trip advisor if you like a place. I would stay again.

Its is tucked away in an unpreposessing part of Tours. Once there it is lovely. Very clean, comfortable bed, super breakfast - home made jams and yogurt. A good experience whilst we stopped en route to the Dordogne.

Excellente "chambre d'hôtes" ! Très confortable et très calme. Pratiquement en centre ville. Très grand jardin. Une chambre au rez de chaussée et une salle de douche spacieuses ! Un très grand lit ! Propriétaires disponibles et très agréables. Petit déjeuner continental copieux avec des produits "faits maison"!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires des lieux . Nous avons apprécié le calme, la propreté et le confort de la maison. Un agréable jardin avec de grands arbres entoure la Héraudière et permet de garer les voitures. Merci pour votre accueil parfait et ces moments de partage lors du petit déjeuner autour de la grande table.

Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison se situe aux portes de Tours, dans un écrin de verdure. Le tram tout proche permet d'atteindre la ville en toute facilité. Le décors est très cosy et les chambres confortables. L'accueil y est remarquable et les produits maisons servis au petit-déjeuner, simplement exquis.
