Staff were professional and friendly however, the cleanliness of the rooms were terrible. Mould throughout the property in bathrooms, on ceilings and on curtains. Air conditioners stunk and filters were dusty.

Place needs a good deep clean. Pillow cases had stains and the walls and utensil drawers are dirty. Pool and view is nice. Id stay there again if it had a good clean up

Terrible..so dirty..couch was disgusting,the bathroom cracked rusted,stainrd cups,the headboard made the pillows brown. We spent $$$ on a throw so we could sit on the couch. And more $$$$$on spray wipes and cleaning products. Townsville accomodation all but sold out otherwise we would have just left.AVOID this place

I rated this apartment as poor mainly because our 1-bedroom apartment was filthy. We were staying there because of its great location next to Reid Park V8 supercars track. The complex was fully booked out as was the whole of Townsville because of the V8s and an NRL game on Saturday night so there was no choice to move. We ended up going shopping and spent nearly $60.00 on a cheap throw to cover all the stains on the couch and enough disinfectant, cleaners, and air freshener to try and remove the strong pungent smell in the apartment. After a good clean, we were prepared to make do. Unfortunately, when we woke the next morning our pillows were black where they had pushed under the headboard of the bed so more cleaning and a trip to reception to get more pillow cases. The apartment was very worn and even after cleaning the bathroom was still quite disgusting and needed a complete renovation. This property has a lot going for it but we will never stay there again

Dirty, noisy. Separated by a different tower from the person I was travelling with and her room was so bad she moved in with me. We were there for business and will never stay there again.

We stayed at Central Islington in Townsville. We are a family of four. The room was disgusting, and the smell was extremely bad (Room 40). The room was very dirty, the carpet was filthy, and all the utensils were old and rusty. The toaster and microwave were particularly rusty. There weren’t enough cooking pans, and some of them were rusted as well. The bed was very old, and the couch was so worn out that even if you tried to sell it, no one would want to buy it. I even cleaned the air conditioner filter. On a positive note, the washing machine and fridge were in good condition. The bathroom is good. Good water pressure However, when I booked, the pictures made the place look much nicer than it actually was when we arrived. I would recommend that the owners or managers of this place visit Vinnies or Lifeline to find some decent furniture and appliances. This apartment is extremely dirty, in my opinion. You may get sick if you stay here, so I would advise staying away from Central Islington in Townsville. I have stayed hundreds of hotels and apartments all over Asia and Australia but this is the worst I stayed so far.

Great location easy walking to most thingß. Only thing missing was a lift.
