The hotel was great, a really good base for autumn leaf viewing. It was a bit of a drive from Nagoya, which took a while, but it made setting off to see the autumn leaves the next day super convenient and comfortable.

Plus, there's a FamilyMart and a relatively larger convenience store right inside the station. While Google lists it as a 3-star hotel, it's rated as 5-diamond on Ctrip. Objectively speaking, it's much better than other 3-star hotels in terms of both room size and facilities. The TV is large and new, and the bathroom is also spacious. I heard the breakfast is fantastic, but since my room didn't include it, I didn't get a chance to try it.

I was here for the Jishukan High School Jishusai festival and forgot my slippers, so I just wore the hotel's. My room had a direct view of Toyohashi Station platforms, but the soundproofing was excellent; I didn't hear any noise at all. The breakfast was quite extensive and very delicious. Not only did it have all the usual offerings, but also local specialties like Toyohashi curry udon and chikuwa (fish cakes), and there were even two different kinds of chikuwa! They were really tasty, and it meant I didn't have to go out and buy the now-pricier chikuwa. My only slight disappointment was that the curry udon was cold. Also, the entrance on the first floor that connects to the station was under renovation, and it wasn't as obvious, similar to the steps where Lao Ba eats takoyaki.

This was the most comfortable sleep I've had on my current trip to Japan. The experience was almost perfect. As it's my second time using this brand, I didn't hesitate to choose this hotel again when I returned to Toyohashi. The location is convenient, with a convenience store nearby, and both the bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The soundproofing is also quite good. All in all, I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back.
