I stayed with my husband and son at Pousada do Bosque in 2006 and now (Augusto 2025) I was back at the same place with a Spanish friend and our kids. The memories of the previous stay remain, but the problems of the recent stay left a mark on us. The price-quality ratio is terrible: we were left without internet and hot water, and they treated us very unkindly. They showed little interest in helping us to compensate for the problems and move on. (Português: Fiquei hospedada com meu marido e filho na Pousada do Bosque em 2006 e agora voltei ao mesmo lugar com uma amiga Espanhola e nossos filhos. As memórias da estadía anterior ficaram, mas os problemas da estadía recente nos deixaram marcadas. Relação preço-qualidade está horrível: ficamos sem internet e sem água quente e nos trataram de manera muito invida. Não manifestando muito interesse em ajudar-nos a compensar os problemas e seguir adiante.)

I recently stayed at Bosque in Trancoso, Bahia with my 3 years old twins and it was an incredible experience. The environment was perfect—natural and impeccably clean. The staff were great, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The food was amazing, offering delicious local flavors. The beautiful gardens added a serene and picturesque backdrop to my visit. It was truly an incredible experience.

I absolutely love the location and great service from all of the staff members! Breakfast delicious with variety of sweet and savoury options. Swimming pool great, with clean water and stunning to use after the sunset. Thank you so much!!!

Very pleasant pousada, with beautiful ample rooms and very pleasant outdoor green areas, not to mention the pool, kids play house, and breakfast area w comfy conversation area. Above all, the people who work there, dona Araguacy and her family and every single one of the employees we interacted with were nothing but pleasant. So thanks to Taci, Jaqueline, Juci e Marisa in the kitchen; Maria, Sofia & a third nice lady whose name escapes me right now in cleaning; Weidson, Liriel e Vanessa at the reception; Dei, João and Breno with day and night service; and Dona Araguacy, Ananda, and Caiã, a beautiful family offering so much hospitality. We felt like we were leaving friends behind and can't wait to return.

The location is amazing! 5 minutes walking distance from “quadrado” (Main Street with all restaurante). The hotel is very quiet, comfortable bed, aircon in every room, hammocks in the balcony, friendly staff, delicious breakfast I would definitely stay here again! Very impressed! Forgot to mention the swimming pool! Loved that area, so much nature around I felt extremely relaxed and recharged. Loved it!!!

Wow. What a great 5 days we had! The staff was wonderful. Very polite and helpful and served a delicious breakfast every morning. The room was spacious and clean, perfect for our family of 4. A great location walking distance to the beach and the quadrado and a great base for our little holiday. Thanks Ananda and colleagues for everything! We’ll be back!! Josh
