After the hike to Corno di Tres we arrived at the refuge at 2 pm, we asked if we had time for lunch and they said yes. After half an hour of waiting we finally managed to order, 4 plates of polenta and melted cheese. Shortly after, 4 plates of... polenta and sausages arrived! We sent the plates back to the kitchen and finally our orders arrived. Unfortunately extremely disappointing, 8 cm² of overly salty polenta with a 1 mm slice of melted cheese on top. The dish cost €13, and if you can forgive the poor service given the crowd and the small number of staff, such a miserable dish at that price is unacceptable... we won't be back.

We were there for the first time ... but we will definitely not return ... The welcome leaves much to be desired ... cold as ice ... not to mention the cleanliness of the room ... full of cobwebs ... and to think that it takes very little to remove them ..

Bella struttura in mezzo alla natura con una vista mozzafiato. Le stanze sono confortevoli, nuove, arredate in stile alpino, con un terrazzino e bagno privati. Gradevole spazio esterno, bar e ristorante (che però non abbiamo utilizzato). La prima colazione varia ed abbondante, sia nella quantità che nella scelta.

Struttura ben mantenuta, pulitissima, adatta alle persone disabili in carrozzina e che accetta i cani di qualsiasi taglia e, se non bastasse con una vista mozzafiato su tutta vallata. Il ristorante in cui si fa colazione è, volendo si può pranzare o cenare, offre piatti buonissimi e belli anche da vedere. Io e la mia famiglia (mia moglie, mio figlio in sedia a rotelle ed il nostro cane) siamo stati accolti con estrema gentilezza e premura da tutto lo staff che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Sicuramente, appena possibile, torneremo a trovarli. Vi consiglio di andarci se pensate di andare o siete in zona.

Dopo l'escursione a corno di Tres ci siamo fermati a pranzo alla malga Predaia. Ottima accoglienza della proprietaria e ottimi piatti cucinati dal marito. Buonissime le lasagne agli asparagi e pancetta e buonissima la wienerschnizel. A disposizione buffet di verdure fresche di buona qualità. Acqua e verdure comprese nel prezzo. Abbiamo speso il giusto e mangiato molto bene!! Complimenti!!!

Non veniamo a dormire ma soltanto a pranzare prendere il sole e godere ancora una volta di questo luogo. Si mangiava già bene ma… come si dice … si può sempre migliorare … ed oggi, 18 agosto, a quasi un anno di distanza ( lo scorso anno eravamo qui il 20), abbiamo gustato e annusato un grande cambiamento che sembra essere opera di uno chef “decisamente del nord”! Accolti da Riccardo e dalla mamma ancora quest’anno non possiamo che dare appuntamento al prossimo agosto! Prosit!
