Nilaveli Beach Hotel

Wonderful beach location and large pool. A wide selection of food to choose from, all very well presented. Our room was yards from the sea, exceptionally clean and with a good shower room. The only downsides were very limited WiFi access, pool area only and that the staff on reception appeared not to speak or understand English which was rather odd for a hotel with a range of international guests. Nothing within easy walking distance but a great place for people who want to scuba dive

Please avoid this hotel if you are an ethical traveller. They provide preferential treatment to foreigners over locals. Made enquiries about booking for August in December 2023. I was told that rates for SL passport holders would only be released in April 2024. When I contacted them two days ago, they gave me rates until June 2024. When I enquired again about August 2024 with the dates I mentioned in my initial email of December 2023, the reply was that the hotel is fully booked on those dates. I replied to that email asking if there’s any availability In August at all and the reply was that the hotel is fully booked in August , so why not try September? They did not have the decency to say that they do not offer the hotel to locals during peak times and as a consequence I have missed out on a couple of other places. Surely, the decent thing to do would be to let me know that the hotel was fully booked as and when it happened? It appears that the hotel does not value residents when they have business but only turn to local residents when they are short of customers. If you are an ethical traveller, please think carefully before booking this hotel.

The Nilaveli Beach Hotel was one of the best hotels we could experience in Srilanka. The staff always very kind and helpful. The restaurant with fresh and delicious food, with a pleasure view to the beach. We highly recomend this hotel. The best option in Nilaveli if you want to relax and enjoy.

To_ Nilaveli Beach Hotel I am a regular guest here from UK and complained all these kind of issues, but no improvement yet, this hotel is not worth to spend lot, your manager or executive refused to meet me, this is not ri No WI-FI in the room The Beach Bar WI-FI is not faster than H coverage ( Too Late to Load a Page ) How do we work outside? Too Many mosquito outside. Room Doesn't have more than 10 TV Channels ( 10 channels are unwanted ) Room floors are look like too dirty. No food service after 10.00PM, if me or my family hungry, I am not ask you to provide food for free?

We went from the 1st of March to 3rd March..From The time we reached the hotel they welcomed us with the Best experience...Mr Prem was so helpful , the staff, the food was good,we enjoyed every minute. The service , the rooms were clean, ..nothing to complain..This was our second visit..Will come again

Beautiful Sri Lankan hospitality. Very polite staff from top to bottom. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, and the ladies who sweep the courtyard. Thank you for the wonderful three nights. We wish you all have a very busy year ahead. *****🙂👍

Superb place, quite clean lush green with Break njumping monkeys surrounded. Staff are too good and polite. Its my second visit this Nilaveli Beach Hotel in 5 years. Beautiful sunrise view of piegion island. Love you Nilaveli Beach hotel.

We had a great week at Nilaveli Beach Hotel. Enjoyed the so called off season with perfect weather, great hospitalty and a relaxing stay. The service was outstanding in all areas of the Hotel. The food and food varity excellent. Enjoyed the beautiful beach as well as the garden area, away from the hustle and bustle. Thanks to all the staff and management who made our stay enjoyable and unforgetable.

First time. Room 6 was good but housekeeping was really BAD. All they ever did was make the beds, change the towels , fill the coffee pods n nothing else. The room wasn’t swept , shampoo n shower gel not replenished. . The restaurant staff n food was really good . Will visit again
